I wake up to the sound of text messages blowing up on my phone, so I go over and grab it to check who it is. It's Ella and Arianna. I see that there are over 20 messages from them and they were about the party. I frown and put my phone down and go downstairs. My dad is sitting on the couch, reading the newspaper, and Bella is listening to her earphones in the kitchen.
"Dad, I'm going for a walk again"
"Alright, be careful"
"Okay"
I head upstairs, into my room to get my outfit ready and put my hair into a side fishtail braid and head out the door. Today was a good day. It wasn't too cold or windy but a little breeze. I decide to got the same route I usually go but something just keeps bothering me. The night before was distracting me from all my other thoughts, so I text
Arianna and Ella to meet me at the local coffee shop near Arianna's house.
"Oh My God!!"
"Why'd you leave early yesterday?!"
"Well like I said, I wasn't feeling well yesterday"
"I don't believe you, just tell us the truth already"
"Alright, I didn't want to feel like I was taking all the other girls opportunities meeting him"
"Wh-"
"And did you know why he invited all the girls"
"Ummmmm..... no"
"Well it was because his mother wanted him to find a wife"
"Ohhhhhh"
After that long talk with Arianna and Ella, Arianna wanted us to stay at her house. We agreed. I called my dad and told him that I would stay at Arianna's for the night. We walked back to her house and into her bedroom.
"Alex, did you think about how Ashton felt after disappearing from his party?"
"Well ummm..... now you say that, I feel even worse for yesterday" I slouch back onto Arianna's bed.
"You should call him"
"I don't have his number"
"It's alright, I got one of his buddies phone number"
"Wait you got Brian's number?!?"
"Yeahhh, but nows not the time to be asking about that"
Arianna quickly tosses her phone next me and tells me hurry and call him.
"Wait, what do I say?!?!?!?"
"Just ask if Ashton's with him"
"But but-"
"Just do it already!!!"
I click Brian's name and click the call button, then it starts ringing....
