5. Let's Meet

Just seeing Arianna with him was so mesmerizing. I stood there with Ella, talking about random things, until I hear a manly voice saying "Hello, welcome to the party" and I turn around to see Ashton standing there with a gentleman next to him. "It's our pleasure for being here" I respond to them, speaking for Ella and I. The gentleman next to Ashton, greets himself to us as Cameron Fryers (one of Mr. Grey's so called best friends of two of his best friends). Ella greets herself to him and I could tell that they both are a little shy. I turn over to see if Arianna is still dancing and indeed she is until the song ends and the gentleman with her comes toward us four. Arianna is blushing as I could see and the gentleman says to us that his name is Brian Leonard. I'm guessing that he is Ashton's other best friend since their the only three guys at this party actually talking to some of the girls.

"I had a great dance with you Mrs."

"Arianna"

"Well I had a great dance with you Arianna"

I could see how happy Arianna was with her rosy cheeks and the shy smile on her face.

We continue chatting with each other, until the guys decide that we should go separate ways in pairs, to see if we could get to know each other more. So Arianna and Brian go their own way, Ella and Cameron go their own way, which means that Ashton and I have to be paired together.

"Do you mind if I ask you a quick question Ashton?"

"Sure"

"Why did you invite me, my friends, and all these other women?"

"Well..... since I was a kid, my mother had always wanted me to have a perfect wife for me and beautiful grandchildren for her, so when she had seen me all grown up one day, she was worried that if I didn't find a wife soon or at all, she wouldn't be able to have grandchildren and take care of them one day"

"So is that why you invited all these women to your party, to see if you could find your "perfect wife"

"Indeed you are correct"

We continue talking for a couple of minutes until I realize that we had walked away from the crowd of women in the room. I didn't want to feel like I was taking Ashton away from the opportunities of the other girls, so I say to him, "Do you think you could get me a glass of champagne?", and he nods his head and walks towards the room again. After watching him walk away, I try to sneak my way into the room that we previously came from to go outside. I felt kinda bad but I had too, I felt guilty taking away many gorgeous girls in that rooms opportunity. I walk past two men in suits guarding the door and I text Arianna and Ella. I tell them that I wasn't feeling good, so I was gonna take the cab home so that they didn't have too.

As I'm heading home, I wonder to myself, What would've happened if I stayed there with him?
