Big Bad Wolf

My wolf and I hate it when you come smelling like other guys from your Kindergarten classes. Jealousy surges through our vein as we realize that stupid human kids have the privilege to associate themselves with you while all we can do is sit and hide around in the bushes at some stupid park and wait for Fate to play its part and send you here for a playing session with your girl pals.

I often wonder why Nature is punishing me with such a long wait. The wait to claim something that is rightfully mine by all laws of nature alike.

Anger surges through me when I realize that it will be more than a decade from now that I'll be able to claim you at an age deemed right by your human standards.

I don't know Little Moon if I can wait that long.

I have responsibilities to shoulder within my pack and a lineage to cultivate. The wait seems almost unbearable. What makes me survive through the day are your memories and the distinct sound of your laughter stored somewhere in the precious chambers of my sub-consciousness reserved for you.

Don't give me such a hard time Little One.

You wouldn't want to cross the Big Bad Wolf.
