"We need to wake him up but I don't have the heart to," Pete says, as they all glance at the sleeping omega. Patrick was laying on the dressing room couch, and they had 20 minutes till the concert.

"I don't think I can either. He looks so peaceful sleeping there," Andy agrees. Joe rolls his eyes.

"Well, then I'll do it." He walks up to the omega, gently shaking him awake.

Patrick slowly opens his eyes, staring at Joe then towards Andy and Pete.

"What is--it?" Patrick asks, yawning in the middle of the question. He sits up, stretching a bit.

"Oh, the concert starts in 20," Pete says. Patrick nods, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Sorry, we didn't really want to wake you," Pete admits. Patrick waves him off.

"Pete, it's fine," Patrick assures, getting up from the couch and grabbing his phone. He chuckles at the text displayed on the screen, typing a response back.

"What is it?" Andy asks, the alphas curious as to what was on the screen.

"Oh, my mom is demanding for me to come see her."

"I guess we never did tell our familes," Pete says.

"I guess we didn't."

They hear a knock on the door, making the four look up as it opens.

"You're on in 10," A stage crew says, and they nod in response.

"We never really told her anything about the past few months," Patrick mumbles, looking downward. Pete quickly jumps up and walks over to Patrick, pulling him into an embrace.

"Hey, it's alright. You were more worried about you. We all were. It's okay if something as simple as telling your family slipped your mind. It probably would have been hard to have told them anyway," Pete says, slowly rocking them back and forth. He feels Patrick nods against his chest, and Pete moves his head to lay on top of Patrick's.

Andy and Joe smile at the sight.

Pete was still the same as ever, doing stuff that Pete would normally do. But as soon as anything concerned his omega, he was there in a heartbeat.
