I smiled up at Seb as he joined me at the McLaren table. We were eating outside as it was a nice evening and soon we'd all go to sleep, as we needed to be ready for the race tomorrow. Nico was on pole alongside Lewis and then behind them were Seb and Bottas. Unfortunately, I didn't do as well and was in 9th place for tomorrow, but I was still confident for the race. I couldn't eat much as I was quite nervous and I was on a drivers diet.. I looked at Seb's watch and sighed 'It's getting sorta late, night Seb. Good luck for the race' He smiled 'You too' I stood up and walked inside and found my room, I changed into pyjamas, brushed my teeth and tucked up in my bed. I slowly drifted to sleep, slipping into lots of happy dreams.

'Peppi! Peppi wake up!' I was shook roughly and rubbed my eyes, it was my PR manager, Lucy 'You're going to be late! The race starts in an hour!' I jumped up, my eyes wide and my hair messy. 'What do you mean the race is in an hour?! Why didn't you come earlier?!' She gave me an apologetic look as she chucked my race overalls at me 'Get changed.. now!' Her voice made me spring off my bed and scramble into the bathroom. I pulled on my underwear, underclothes and shoved the overalls on. I was about to do the zip when.. *Nice one, you put them on back to front* I yanked my overalls off and finally chucked them on, running back into my room and running a brush through my hair. 'Right let's go, hurry up' Lucy dragged me out, chucking me an apple and forcing me to eat some cornflakes.
I was being dragged all around the paddock. My race engineer telling me this, my teammate telling me that. Presenters from many different countries, pestering me non stop. 'Why are you late?' , 'is it Räikkönen's fault?' , 'Are you pregnant?'
Some ridiculous things were being thrown around, but I just kept my head down and ignored them.
'Come on Peppi, it's time' Sam, my trusty race engineer smiled. My car was rolled onto my grid slot and I sat near it, breathing in and out. Still wiping sleepy dust out of my eyes. I didn't want to talk to anyone, so I stuffed my earphones into my ears and played so Metallica :)
