hyunji pov

i stayed up all night thinking about sihyun and sejoon. i said i would get over sihyun but it pained me a bit to see that he doesn't see how i feel at all. it breaks me. but then, i recalled what jeongin had said to me and it made me blush madly. it was now 3pm and we had night school today so we had to get to school at 5pm.

"hyunji, get up. let's skip school today." my brother said as he walked in with jinyoung and felix. "let's go to the beach. i know you won't say no to the beach" jinyoung said as he wiggled his eyebrows and sat with me on my bed.

"fine fine, just let me get my bag ready then we can go. jinyoung help me" i said as i pushed away my brother and felix and kept jinyoung.

i went to the bathroom and washed up a bit leaving jinyoung in my room packing up for me. jinyoung always took care of me and i liked it, he was always there.

"hyunji, hurry up. i finished packing" jinyoung called out as i just finished putting my hair in a messy bun. "i'm ready" i said as i winked and held jinyoungs hand all the way to the car.

surprisingly all 11 of us fit in our minivan. they put on wanna ones 'boomerang' and i laughed because jinyoung was so flustered. we sang to most wanna one songs as we were arriving to the beach.

"woww, it's so empty! let's go play kids! chan and i will make food" woojin said as he grabbed chans arm and dragged him to a grill. i laughed a bit since my brother really wanted to play first.

the whole car ride was about 2 hours and 30 minutes so it was about 5:55pm. the sun will set soon and that's all i was waiting for. i looked around and saw everyone playing and having fun so i smiled to myself. i was grateful for these 10 idiots in my life.

i left everyone and walked up the rock that was on the beach that gave a good view of the sunset. i got my camera out ready to take a lot of photos and videos.

soon the sky turned color. yellow to orange to pink to purple to blue and it looked so beautiful. i took a photo everytime a new color appeared. then i recalled the first time i came here to watch the sunset. i was with sihyun, i was 14 and he was 16. i smiled bitterly as i recalled the moment we had on this very rock together. i blinked and a tear ran down my cheek.

"want me to take a photo for you?" i flinched a bit because i didn't know anyone was there and i quickly wiped my left eye. "um yea sure!" i said as i turned around and passed my camera to jeongin. i made a peace sign with my hand and i heard a click sound.

"why were you crying just now? are you okay?" jeongin said as he took a seat next to me and looked over at me. his hair was wet and to be honest he looked kinda cute. my heart beat increased as he looked into my eyes.

"the first time i came here, was with sihyun. we watched the sunset together" i said as i smiled bitterly again. jeongin just nodded his head slowly.

"don't get mad at me." he said. i was confused at first until i saw him lean in and wrap his arms around my petite body. i was tense at first but after i felt his warmth i relaxed and hugged him back allowing his scent to fill up my nose.

"don't be sad over a boy. i told you i will help you move on and become happy. don't be sad alone" he said as he held me tighter. i nodded my head and sniffled a bit.

"let's stay like this, for a moment" i said as i held him closer to my body leaving no space.
