jeongin pov

"let's just stay like this, for a moment" hyunjin said as she sniffled and held me closer. i was never so bold so i admit i was a bit afraid. my heart beat increased as the space between us decreased and decreased. soon she pulled away and i saw how red her face was, it pained me.

"let's go do something fun!" i said as i picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. she was shocked and yelled and hit me a bit. i knew she wanted to get down but i had to bring up her spirit. soon her yelling was filled with laughter as i ran towards the water.

"embrace yourself bang hyunji!" i said before i took her and threw her into the water. my laughter filled the atmosphere. after about 10 seconds of her not coming back up i stopped laughing and became worried. i looked around and yelled hyunji a few times.

again, my heart beat increased but this time it felt different, i was scared. my breathing increased as i felt something grab my ankle pulling me down into the water. i yelled.

i came back up after 5 seconds of being under and i saw hyunji laughing hysterically while pointing at me. "that's what you get for throwing me in. you were scared weren't you?" she said as she tried to catch her breath. i pouted and we walked out of the water.

"yah jeongin, hyunji, dinner is ready. let's go eat" minho said as he gathered all of the kids together at the little beach table.

we ate, laughed, joked, threw food around, we drunk a bit, hyunji had a can or two. we had fun, a good successful day at the beach. i enjoyed myself.

"let's go home now kids" seungmin said as we started to clean up. "shut up, you're not that much older than jeongin and hyunji idiot" hyunjin said as he smacked the back of seungmins head which made everyone laugh.

we got onto the mini van and hyunji decided to sit next to me. she was a little bit drunk according to chan but he said once she sleeps it goes away so we let her sit all the way in the back to sleep peacefully.

"jinyoung-sshi. i have a secret to tell you." hyunji said as she came closer to me. i felt my face turn red because it was the first time we have ever been so close.

"you know how my heart is in pain because of sihyun? lately, my heart has been feeling better now. but because of jeongin. do i like jeongin? jinyoung-sshi, i'm scared to like jeongin. i'm scared to be in love. what if he hurts me too?" she said as a tear fell from her eye.

"he'll never hurt you hyunji. he'll stay by your side and support you okay?" i said to her as she backed away and put her head on my shoulder and fell asleep.
