Lily-Rose
I'm finally 18, I graduate in 10 days! I've been living the best life. My biggest supporter is my dad, he made all this happen. After everything he been through, he never gave up. Everyday I think about my mom, I never ask my dad about her. I always go to my aunt Kimberly she loves talking about my mom. They were best friends, she said once I turned 18 she'll tell me about their deepest, darkest secrets.
5:00 a.m.
"Lily-Rose!" My dad semi yelled. "What?" I said jumping out of my sleep. "Come On we have to go now, get up" he said snatching my cover off of me. "What's going" I said as I started to panic. "I'll explain in the car, grab what ever you can and meet me down stairs in 5" he said while running out my room. My head started spinning and I became dizzy. Before I knew it, I blacked out.

"Why are they coming for me?" I asked as I thought to myself until my thoughts got interrupted. I heard a thump and ran straight to Lily-Rose room, there she was on her floor passed out. I quickly grabbed one of her bags and stuffed some clothes in it, I grabbed her brush, toothbrush, ponytail holders, and her smell goods. I threw Lily-Rose over my shoulder and grabbed her bag and made my way downstairs. I bent down to grab my bag and the bag with the snacks, and started walking out the door. I laid Lily-Rose in the backseat and placed a blanket over her.
I closed the door and remembered that I had to go back in the. I ran back in the house and grabbed Lilian's jewelry box and a photo of her. I ran back out side and got in the car. I placed the photo and the jewelry box in the arm rest. I looked back at Lily-Rose and smiled, she looks just like Lilian when she's sleeping. I turned back around and started the car up. I didn't want to leave, I had so many memories in this house. But for the safety of Lily-Rose I'll do anything.
Lily-Rose
"Lily-Rose, you have to save him" a voice said "What?" I said looking around. I couldn't see anything everything was pitch black. "Save him, he needs you" the voice screamed. "Save who?" I yelled back. "HELP MEEEE!!!!" Yelled a boy with blood over his face. I than woke up screaming. "Lily-Rose! Are you alright?" My dad said stopping the car. "I... I ... I had a dream that someone kept telling me to help him" I said sitting up rubbing my face. "Help who?" He asked turning around fully looking at me. "I dont know" I said looking around. "Where are we?" I asked looking confused "We are in Santa Cruz" he said reaching for a small booklet. "Your mother always wanted to move here" he said handing me the booklet. "What's this" I asked as I skimmed through the book.
"It's your mother's adventure book" he said looking through the rear view mirror. "Why did we have to leave in such a rush?" I asked sitting the booklet down. "Um just wait till we get to the hotel" he said turning on the radio. "Hey did you get my phone and Laptop?" I asked looking through my bag. "We had to leave it behind" he said as he began to drive faster. "Why are going fast?" I said while I turned around to look behind us.
Behind us there were 2 black Ford Expeditions. "Dad why are they following us?!" I semi yelled. "Look they're trying to kill me, okay" he said picking up speed. "Dad what are you talking about?" I asked as if I didn't understand him. My dad began crying, I was so confused. Just yesterday we were living the best life ever, now we're getting chased and I don't know what for. He looks back at me and says "I love you Ba..." and everything went black.
There's a ringing noise in my ear, I wake up to flashing lights and people surrounding the car. As the firefighters get me out the back seat I glance at the front seat and my dad isn't there maybe they already got him out. "Whe... whe..where's my.." I tried to get where is my dad out but I couldn't I was in so much pain and they told me not to talk. I was in so much pain that I passed out.
Next Day
I woke up in a hospital, so sore that I don't want to move. I push the button for the nurse she came immediately. "Hey, your awake" she said coming in with a clip board."Umm where's my dad?" I asked trying to sit up. "No stay laying down" she said touching my shoulders "You were the only one in the car" she said looking at me. "What?" I said with anger
