Am I Reddie to Love You?

Chapter One: The Intro

In a little town called Derry, fourteen year old Richie Tozier is sitting on his bed, thinking to himself. After the incident with Pennywise, he always found himself dozing off and thinking about none other than Eddie Kaspbrak. Richie didn't know why, but he suspected that he had new found feelings for him. Richie sat in a dozed state until his eyes drifted over to the clock. He jumped in shock. "Oh shit! I'm supposed to have been at the quarry ten minutes ago!" Richie yells and scrambles out of his room. He runs down the stairs, out of the front door and jumps on his bike. Tozier pedals as fast as he possibly can, but he gets to the quarry five minutes later. He pulls up and jumps off of his bike. He can already hear the voices of his best friends complaining and whining. "Where were you Trash mouth? You're fifteen minutes late!" calls the familiar voice of Beverly Marsh. "Yeah you idiot! I was starting to worry!" Eddie says as he walks up to Richie. (Oh. Great. Not like this is weird or anything.) Tozier thinks to himself. He starts to blush and he avoids Eddie's gaze. Richie stares at the ground until he is aware of everyone's eyes upon him. He looked up and said "I'm sorry. I lost track of time." Tozier didn't think that anyone would believe him, but they didn't question him any further. "A-anyone up f-for a game of h-hide and go seek?" Bill stutters. Everyone agrees except for Stan and Eddie. Stan was worried that he was going to get lost and Eddie was sure that someone was going to get hurt in someway and everyone would be sorry that they hadn't listened to him. "Oh come on! You guys pull this shit all the time you wussies!" Mike yelled frustrated. Stan and Eddie still weren't convinced. "Eds! my sweetie pie! if you don't play I'll have to kiss you on the cheek!" Richie said and he started to make kissy noises. Eddie made a barfing noise and yelled "Alright! I'll play! I'll play!" everyone went hysterical with laughter. Everyone that is except for Eddie Kaspbrak. "I'll count, you guys hide." Mike called as he walked over to a big oak tree and started to count. "1........2........3" Everyone scattered to find the best hiding spot. Beverly shimmied up a tree, Eddie and his tiny doll like body hid inside of a bush, Bill cowered behind a big bolder, Stan buried himself in some tall grass, Ben stuck out like a sore thumb behind a skinny cedar tree, and Richie dove under some under brush. "7.....8......9......10!! "Ready or not? Here I come!" Yelled mike loudly. He whipped around and started to look. He chuckled to himself as he immediately found Ben, sticking out at both sides of the tree. "Found you Ben!!" He called as he walked over towards him. "Damn it!!" Ben shrieks. Mike laughs and says "Come on. Let's go find the others." They start to look around again and soon after that, Ben feels something hit his head. He looks up and jumps in surprise. "Beverly! what are you doing up there?" he asks. "Haha. Found you! Now get down here before you fa-" Mike exclaims as Beverly leans forward and falls out of the tree into his arms. Ben flashes Mike a death glare and Mike sets her down gently on the ground. "Let's go." Ben says bitterly. They set off again. There was a loud groan and a giant bolder started to roll in their direction. "aaaarrrrggghhhhhh!!!!" They all yell and jump out of the way. The bolder rolls off of the cliff and splashes into the water. They look back up and see Bill standing there, eyes wide. "I-I-I'm soooo s-sorry!!!!!" He yells hysterically. "It's fine. Just don't do it again or it's you that will be flying off the cliff this time." Beverly says smiling. Bill smiles sheepishly and they continue their search. "a-a-choo!" They hear from a direction with tall grass. They all walk over there and wait for a couple seconds. "a-a-choooooo! They hear again. Bill walks over and starts to dig through the grass. Its not long before he comes across Stan's hiding place. "F-f-found you!" he calls as he helps Stan up. "Ugghhh. Stupid allergies." He whines. "The only ones left are Trash mouth and Eds. We have to find them." Ben says. "We should split up. Stan, Bill, and Ben you guys go that way and Mike and I will go this way." Beverly said taking charge, as usual. "No your no- Ben starts to protest but, he sees the look she gives him. "Yeah, you guys go." He says instead. They head off into different directions. Beverly and Mike walk over to an area that has a lot of under brush and thorns. Richie sees them and tries to readjust, but he ends up jamming his hand into a big bristle of thorns. "Fuuuuuuuucccckkkk!!!!!! He screams at the top of his lungs. With doing so he scares them half to death. Richie climbs out from the under brush, holding his hand. "Jesus Tozier, you almost gave us a heart attack!" Beverly shrieks, holding her heart. "The only person left is your sweetie pie, Eds." Mike says, trying to slow his breathing. "Let's go find the lover boy then." Richie says laughing. Mike and Beverly follow him back over in the other direction. Meanwhile, Stan, Bill, and Ben were still looking for Eddie. "Eddie? Eddie! Eddie?" Stan called, looking around. "Stop it Stan. Gosh! He's not a freaking dog. He wouldn't even answer you anyway. The whole point of the game is to remain hidden and that would reveal his position. Duh." Ben the wise said, matter of factly. Eddie, who was listening, bursted into laughter. "bwahahahaahaha-conk!" Eddie snorted. He clapped his hand to his face, waiting to see if he was exposed. Bill and Stan had heard, but Ben hadn't because he was still going on and on about the rules of hide and seek. They left Ben and walked over to the bush that had laughed. They started to sift through the bush until they hit flesh. Eddie screamed because they had startled him. "Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!!!" They lifted the tiny boy up from the bush and set him down on the ground. "I win I win I win! I w-" Eddie started wheezing and coughing. "Oh. No! It's another asthma attack! Someone quick! Where's his inhaler?" Stan yelled, panicking. "I have it!" someone yelled. Richie ran over with Eddie's inhaler clutched in his hand, like a prize. "I always carry an extra." He explained. Tozier gave the inhaler to Eds and pulled the trigger. His breathing calmed again. By then all of his friends were leaning over him, looking worried. Eddie gave everyone a innocent sad smile. It was then that Richie Tozier knew that he loved Eddie Kaspbrak with every bone in his body.
