background it started well, reese's family. they were happy and cute and had a bright future ahead of them. but during a big storm when reese was just a kid he and his mom crashed their car. it ruined everything. both of them survived, but it hit lucy hard and she was never quite the same with nightmares, anxiety and most of her hearing getting lost with the ruined car. reese was able to heal, but started experiencing pain all over his skin that started pushing his parents apart with stress. his biggest luck was that he really doesn't remember the crash say for a few weird feelings and dreams. when reese was eight his mom tried to take him with her and run away. it failed, and after a long divorce reese ended up with his stable father and reese hasn't really seen his mother since. james was able to take care of him, working while homeschooling him. they moved a lot, due to his job but reese found he liked going from place to place and got a better education than he'd want to. though he did get a little weird if he's being honest with himself...
