Horns rumbled...
I see boats, many boats that come to try attacking us. My men and I began setting up our positions. I had arrow men all around the top of my walls as I had warriors waiting at the gate for the intruders to come running. Each hitting there swords and axes onto there shield. We didn't have guns and advanced stuff in these new world, so all that lived here had to go back and fight like the older days. I was fine with this I liked it better. The intruders only had one way into my kingdom, through the drop bridge. If they tried any other way they're fall in spikes that I put in my ditches. They're we're about 70 to 80 ships and they had to at least hold 10 people per ship.
I had a plan...
The pagans that walked the roads to approach our gates came into archer distance and my arches fired with no second thinking. We drenched the arrow heads in oil and set them on fire so it burned their bodies to make an easier clean up. The screams for these pagans brought joy to my people as did it to me."Let's show these Pagans who they're messing with!"
"We Are Nordics..."
My men screamed as we all ran towards them.We came closer and they pulled arches out and shot three of us. The rest stopped forming a wall of shields. We marched with this wall gaining more yardage to the enemy. Finally getting closer to them we break this wall killing their men.
Ching Ting Ting
The swords of our two kingdoms rung against each others. Many of brave men and women fought and died. But victory was ours they came with many ships and left with few."Yaaaaa" My men scream as victory was ours. We all came back to the kingdom celebrating our wins in the tavern.
"Neron, I am so proud of you! I never doubted you!" Peyton says.
I grab her and pull her in for a kiss, for she is my queen. I celebrate with her as any king shall do with he's queen.
