The next morning we were told to clean as expected, so far our plan is working. I was able to break through the bars last night but I had to make it seem like it wasn't broken. So I put the bars back onto the window. I went to Peyton and whispered to her, "Wait until they leave, then we'll get Patrick and leave." She nodded her head and started sweeping. The guards watched us for awhile, like they knew our plan and I got nervous. Did thy know our plans? how could they have figured this out? We haven't shown any sign of escape.Maybe they put the file there, but all we could do is wait. I always kept my back towards them, when finally they left the room. "Okay are you ready?" I asked while Peyton nodded and I opened the bars and lifted her out the window, then Patrick. I heard the door to our room open and the guards... They were running towards me, I quickly jumped into the window but the guard grabbed my foot. I kicked with the other but his grip was so hard. I thought this was it for me...
I thought to myself, "They'll came back for me, but what will these monsters do to me? Especially now, they'll most likely kill me!"
Peyton runs up with a metal pipe hitting the guards head. The guard sees Patrick growling and lets go. We ran, we ran like a rat runs from a eagle. All i could hear behind me is the sound of hard breathing. I thought it was one of them but I looked and Peyton was to my left and Patrick was in front! I turned... It was a dog. They sent dogs on us. They most really wanted us. It jumped on my back, making me fall to the ground. It's teeth looked like miniature knifes ready to stab me but i grabbed a rock that was beside us and hit its head. I didn't kill it but It gave me time to run. But where was Peyton, I saw no sight of Patrick either? I ran towards the sun hoping that I lost the dog. I ended up at a river where I met up with Peyton and Patrick. She looked worried but said, "I thought they killed you," She hit my shoulder laughing. I laughed with her, "I thought the dog was goin to kill me." She looked surprised, "They sent dogs?" I look at her, "yes, but i handled it" I told her. We continued walking to search people that would help.
