I woke up next to a sleeping angel. I remember when I first met her in kindergarten.
Ten years ago....
" Hey!you took my purple crayon..." A pwetty girl yelled from behind me. " Well I want it" I yelled Desire, Age 6 in media..... " Plwease I want it back...I wasn't done" she started to cry " Fine...lets share...do you have Cooties?" I asked " No, you?" She asked " No, my uncles a..a rapper" I randomly stated "well..well.. My..My Dad has diabetes" She stated happily " What's diabetes? " she paused " I don't know" We colored for a long time and I asked her the question that determined our future " Do you want to be my bestest Fwiend" I asked " Yeah, Novy" ..
Now laying next to her I knew what she was to me, but I was fearful she wasn't ready for that yet.To her I was her best friend and protector.
***Flashback***Three years earlier...
I open the door to reveal a crying Star. I looked at her face an it was puffy with a cut on her cheek. Her eye was black and swollen, I knew who did this. I instantly called for mi mami " mamá, su tío la está lastimando de nuevo!!!" I said as I closed the door and set Desire on the couch. " deja que se quede con nosotros este fin de semana!" I heard from my moms room " I'm glad your letting me stay here" she said starting to cry. I held her in my arms and let her cry.I knew then I had to protect her.
*Flashback Over***
"I know what I have to do."I thought as I called Nia. " Hey Nia, we need to talk"......
