Black's POV

After the Strawhats accepted our offer, we led them to a well-lit cave that had a large horseshoe shape table in the middle.
I trailed a bit further behind everyone, close to Mr Roranoa. He was drinking a bottle of high quality dragon sake that he had got from Jackal.
"So, uh." I stuttered, trying to start a conversation, but being the socially awkward person I am, I failed miserably.
Zoro glanced in my direction, still slurping the alcohol.
"Nevermind." I muttered, glancing away, embarrassed out of my senses.
Zoro shrugged and quickened his pace to catch up with to Aqua, probably wanting to ask her about her swordfighting.
I sighed, then jumped as a hand patted my back.
"Cheer up Black, I'm sure you'll get your chance." Danika smiled encouragingly.
Her adorable daughter, Mavilla, was tottering beside her, holding her mother's hand to keep herself balanced and her son was in her arms.
"Thanks Danika," I hesitated, "and are you doing okay?"
Her breath hitched and her reply was slow.
"I'm alright, but so many nights, I cry myself to sleep." Danika gave a tiny sob and her son glanced up.
"It'll be okay." I comfortingly murmured to her as she sniffled quietly.
I gave her a moment to gather herself then smiled gently and held my arm out for her to take.
"Well, shall we catch up to everyone?"

~Little 30 minute time skip.~

I have never seen someone eat so messily. Mealtime with our crew was always peaceful and relaxing, the exact opposite to what was happening now.
As soon as Luffy set his eyes on our famed Dragon Cuisene, the eating hall turned into a war zone.
Luffy fought over every single bit of meat and seemed to have an infinite amount of hunger.
I gazed in shock at the massive amount of food flying across the room. Triss was forcibly smiling and Jackal was wincing at the food wastage in progress.
It was around 20 minutes later when Luffy at last finished eating.
"So do you guys have Devil Fruits?" Luffy joyfully questioned.
"Na, my crew is like me, we all got our abilities from somewhere else." Triss replied.
"Then what are your abilities?" The woman named Robin inquired.
Triss rolled her head to the roof of the cave. This was one of her least favourite topics.
"Alright, Jackal has explosive based powers- wait, you know what? I'm just gonna let you find out their abilities." Triss mused.
Luffy nodded and grinned.
I looked back to my food, realising I hadn't eaten much at all. I sighed and started to pick at the marinated steak. A throbbing headache had started up.
"I'm going back to my room." I muttered, pushing my seat out from the table.
Triss made eye contact with me and nodded in understanding.
Because of my powers, I was able to hear every living things "heartbeat." So I didn't do well in groups of people.
An incessant drumbeat sounded throughout my head, causing me to slightly wince.
I walked slowly out of the cave, sighing in relief as I left the noisy place and the headache had already begun to subside.

My room, which I shared with my sister was around halfway up the walls of our hideout. I steadily climbed up the rock ledges encountering my dragon, Nyra resting on one of the that had patches of cold sand, a relaxer to most dragons. She had full black scales all over her body and golden eyes. She dipped her head in greeting and I stroked my hand across her forehead in return.
Nyra's heartbeat was normal and soothing to listen to.
"Nyra, do you want to sleep with me?" I whispered into her ear, rubbing her forehead.
She growled lovingly in reply and nuzzled her head against my chest.
We made it to my bedroom at last, and by now, I was ready to sleep whilst standing. Slumping onto the cozy bedspreads, I patted a spot next to me for Nyra. As her head only reached my shoulder, it was easy to make room for her.
She clambered onto the bed, hurring in happiness as she settled down beside me. I laid my head on top of her forearm and her wing draped itself across my body.
Giving a small smile, I closed my eyes.

Annie's POV

This is horrible flying conditions.
The storm was in full blast now and I was struggling to keep myself balanced. Knife like rain,  unrelenting and fierce poured onto my back.
I seriously hope I can get back to the Arc of Wonder in one piece. I had been awake for over 12 hours straight and I was beginning to feel a bit annoyed at everything. My eyes squinted against the rain.
A dull light glowed in the distance and I was tempted to stop and rest at whatever the light was.
"That's it, I'm starved and feeling annoyed so I'm just gonna stop here!" I grumbled.
I angled my wings downward and started to descend to the light, gasping when I realised that the light was on a tiny one cabin boat.
Whatever, I'll beat up whoever's on the boat.
With a thud, I planted my talons onto the sodden wooden deck. With a violent shudder, I transformed back into my human form, collapsing from the exhaustion of being in my dragon form for awhile.
I suddenly threw up, clutching my stomach in pain and shock.
Oh, right. Being in the dragon form drained heaps of energy. If you stayed in the dragon form for too long, you could die.
I groaned and rolled onto my side. The emptiness of my stomach plus the exhaustion of being a dragon was horrible. Throwing up again, I heard a bang of a door behind me.
"Miss, are you alright?!" A gruff sounding voice boomed into my ears. I threw up once more and closed my eyes, letting the cold comfort of unconsciousness steal me away.

I groggily awoke on a bed of animal furs. My throat was dry and my body felt warm. And I was top less, so I hurriedly pulled a blanket tighter to my body.
"Are you ok, Annie?" Asked a strangely familiar voice.
"Katakuri?" I croaked. I struggled into a sitting position on the bed, pulling the blanket on top of me.
Katakuri stepped into view, wearing his favourite jacket and scarf that covered his jaw.
"Why are you here? Seren doesn't want anything to do with you anymore." I stated, my voice firm.
He ran his hand through his hair and sighed.
"All I want is to explain what happened, except it seems I've gotten lost." He explained.
"Does Big Mom know?"
"Course not, she wouldn't let me."
"I guess I can help, as I'm headed to the Arc of Wonder now." I considered the options and decided on my final answer.
"Thanks." Katakuri muttered, sounding relieved.
He sat down on a chair next to the bed and glanced questionly at me.
"So why the hell were you flying through that storm?"
"Can't say." I mumbled.
Katakuri seemed to accept that answer then stood back up.
"You should keep resting." He said as he walked to the door.
I refused and clumsily got out of the bed, the blanket falling from my chest. Katakuri's cheeks went a bit red and I rolled my eyes.
"Surely you've seen some girl naked, haven't you?" I laughed, smirking.
Katakuri frowned, muttering 'Immature' then went to a cupboard on the far side of the room and pulled out my suitcase and gave it to me, averting his gaze from my bare chest.
"Thank you." I happily said.
Muttering "you're welcome"
Katakuri left the room, leaving me alone.

I swiftly changed into a peach knitted jumper and tights. Katakuri must've taken all my jewelry off, so I clipped in all 10 of my studs in my ears and put on my headpiece. I pulled on my leather ankle boots and with that, my outfit was finished. I stepped out of the cabin, finding Katakuri fiddling around with the sail.
I walked over to him, grinning as his hand got caught in a loop.
"You need some help?" I questioned.
He glanced up and groaned.
"You should be resting, and no, I do not need your help."
"Whatever, I'm feeling fine." I replied.
"Please, can you just sit down over there?" Katakuri requested, sounding exasperated.
"Fine!" I said exaggerating my voice.
I sauntered over to the seat next to the cabin door and plonked my self down, glowering at Katakuri.
He shook his head and continued to fiddle with the sail.
Just staring at him now brought back the memories.

Flashback...

"Where the hell is Seren?!"
I was pacing in the training room, glaring at the floor.
Seren was supposed to be joining me for training, but no.
Of course she wandered off and got distracted.
Again.
This was the 10th time this had happened.
I gave up waiting and decided to search for her. I listed the places she could be in my head:
The beach, the forest, somewhere with Black or playing with some of the dragons.
"I'll check the beach first." I muttered, still annoyed.
I used my wings to fly from the doorway and down to the main cave entrance/exit.
When I finally arrived at the beach, I could see Seren crouched next to a large, unmoving figure with bubblegum pink hair.
What?
