Two Different Worlds, Same Reallity (A Jackunzel Fanfic)

Chapter 10: Sweet Dreams and Beautiful Nightmares(Part 2)

Jack's POV

It's been 3 weeks since she's been in that coma. 3 weeks, lying in that same bed. 3 weeks of hearing her soft cries and shouts. I can't take it. To imagine that someone as gentle, innocent and pure hearted as Rapunzel has to go through all this...

* 3 WEEKS AGO...*

"SANDY!!!" I came bursting through Sandy's Palace, unconcious Rapunzel in my arms. "Sandy!!! Sandy, where are you?!? I need your help! Please!" I called out. He came moments later, panting. He has a small screen infront of him while he was circling some dream sand in his hand that was held up. Then his gaze landed on Punz. For a second, I saw mixed emotions in his eyes; shock, pity, fear. He started checking on Rapunzel. He made some signs come up which I guessed asks of what had hapened to Rapunzel. "Well...." I told him the story of how me and Punz went to the lake in Burgess, us being attacked by nightmares... us running and fighting them, and all that.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

So, since then, Rapunzel's been staying in Sandy's castle. And even though I really wanted to stay the whole time to watch Rapunzel, I can't because I have some 'duties' I need to fulfill. I'll be doing my duties while Sandy's taking care of Rapunzel. And Sandy'll do his while I'll be the one who takes care of Punz.

He always leaves a bag or two of dream sand for me to sprinkle on Punzie when she looks like she's having nightmares. Sandy said that would at least help her with her nightmares and would help her get out of them faster too.

Well, let's just hope so...

I heard a know on the door. When I looked up, I saw Sandy, Tooth, ,Bunny-Kangaroo, and North. "Hey guys, what're you all doing here?" I asked them. They weren't even supposed to be here. Well, neither was I but I have my reasons.. They all looked at the bed beside me, where Punzie, who was still in that coma-like sleep, lay motionless. "Why... didn't you... tell us, mate?"   Bunny said. I've never seen him like this before, ever. Tooth was looking at Punzie, her breathing became heavier and heavier. "Come on, Punz, you can do it. You can get out of it." She whispered, brushing Punzie's golden hair lightly, but enough for me to here it. Grabbing Punzie's hand, I took a deep breath, "I'm sorry guys, it's because of me that Rapunzel's like this. I did everything I could... It.. I.." my voice started cracking. I could feel the tears wanting to drop of my eyelids, though one tear escaped and it turned into ice before it could landwhich made a soft click when it did hit the floor. I felt North's hand on my back, "There's nothing we can do now but wait."

Sigh...

Nothing more we can do.... but wait...

Rapunzel's POV

Yes, I know I'm in a nightmare. I know I'm asleep. Pitch showed me as soon as I arrived in this place. He made me look at the people I just met with sad and worried looks, he showed me my body, lying on a bed in Sandy's Castle.

Since then, I've been having a series of nightmares, one after another. Tears were flowing out of my eyes like it was a waterfall until no tears were left, my screaming made my throat hurt and my voice a bit rough.

But sometime after several consecutive nightmares came a dream. 'Thank goodness' I though to myself that time.

The first thing I see is a small flash of light from a distance. I walked towards it, and then, just like that, I was transported in another place. It was amazing. Trees and animals, a couple of kids dancing and singing and having fun. I was starting to enjoy myself. It was peaceful, beautiful.

Infront of me, a small village became visible. I walked toward it. I was almost at the village when snow started falling. White stuff covering the ground, snow flakes dropping from the sky. It was gorgeous. It was nothing like the ones I see every year from insode the tower.. I couldn't do so much as move my arms to catch some of it. Then I felt something hard drop on my hand. I looked at it, it was shaped as a snowflake but it had a design that made the pattern look like the sun. It was golden.. or maybe yellow or orange or red-ish, but it was also dark... to be honest, I couldn't describe the color.. It was like the color changes every time to another, and to another, and then to another again... it was amazing.. But then, the colors disappered and it was only blue now, and didn't change anymore. Hmm.. It looked like a jewel or a crystal... or a pendant, but I can tell it wasn't. How, you ask? I have no idea. But I feel like it wasn't just that.  Darkness started to swallow me up. The village disappearing, the woods, the trees, the animals, the snow, all turning into darkness. I gripped onto that jewel and held it closer to my chest, hoping that where ever I was being taken to, I'd still have the only reminder I have left of that single peaceful place I saw and felt since I got in this nightmare...

'Please help me'
