Lucy's pov It's been a month since Natsu stopped talking to me. Yeah, I would hang around him and his friends, but he doesn't talk directly to me.
When I got home, I started crying. I try talking to him but it doesn't work.
Ring
Must be my phone. "Hello?"
"Hey, Lu-Chan! We're going to the mall. Want to come."
"Who's all coming?"
"Me, Juvia, Erza, Mira and Lisanna. It's a girls night."
"Yeah, sure. I'll come."
"Awesome. Come as soon as possible."
"Okay, see ya later." I then hung up.
She then texted me 'wear something fancy ;)'
What's up with the face? 'How fancy?'
'Just a nice dress;)'
Alrighty then. 'Will do.'

When I got there I didn't see any of my friends. I texted Levy.
'Where are you?'
'At Starbucks. Meet us there;)'
'What's with the face? On my way.'
'You'll see;)'
'What's that supposed to mean?' I thought as I made my way to Starbucks.
As I got there I saw Natsu, but I didn't see my friends.
"Hey Natsu" I said, smiling at him. He looked really nervous.
"H-hey Luce."
"You look nervous. What's going on?"
"Huh? Oh, n-nothing" he said.
Natsu's pov
I'm really nervous. Today's the day I confess to Lucy that I love her.
For a month now I've been wondering how to do it. But now I got.
I texted Levy 'do it now!'
She replied with 'okay, okay. Calm down!'
Great. Now I just have to wait.
Lucy frowned. "That's weird" she said. "Levy-Chan said they couldn't make it."
"Hmm. That is weird. Well since your hear, want to hang out?"
"Sure." "Great! Let's go."
We went all around the mall. It was very exhausting. How do girls do this so often?
"Hey, Luce. Let's go to the fair." "Yeah, sure." (It's Friday)
"Oh, look Natsu! Look how cute that stuffed panda is!"
"Here, I'll win it for you." I walked up to the game and started playing. The game is one of the strength games. Good thing I'm strong.
"Here you go Luce." "Thanks Natsu!"
"Let go to the Ferris wheel." I said to Lucy. She nodded.
"Wow, look at the sunset! It's amazing."
Now is the time to say it. If I don't now, then I never will.
"Hey Luce? There's something I've been meaning to tell you."
"What is it Natsu?"
I took a deep breath. "I like you Luce. I mean, I love you. Have been feeling like this for awhile, but I didn't know how to tell you. D-do you like me back?" I asked while staring at her. She was staring back.
"Oh, Natsu. You have know idea how long I've been waiting for you to say that. I've liked you ever since you helped me with my papers. I've been hoping that you would feel the same way. Then we started ignoring each other, and I couldn't take it. I was crying so often. Yes Natsu, I love you, too."
And I kissed her.
She was surprised at first, but, then started kissing back. It was the best kiss ever. It may not have been my first, but I wish it was.
When we pulled away, I whispered "I love you." "I love you, too."
