The Box

In a dark room, Max was shuffling trough a stack of boxes, he knew he wasn't suppose to be here, first because this place was restricted from going to the attic in other words here, second he was grounded. he didn't have anything to search here really but just exploring why is the place restricted. Aha he found a small box, it was locked, he hid it under his shirt before continuing, now searching for a key. It was almost six when he stopped searching his mother() was coming any moment now he crept upstairs and pretended to sleep.

When his mother came he was already asleep. When his mother left he tried again to open the box, still no luck.

Morning came and Max's mother have already left he went to the phone and called his 2 best friends, Rina and Ace, he knew he wont be able to open it without help. He called Rina first "hello, Rina speaking" "hey uh Rina can you come over here i need your help with something" Max said "sure, coming now" she hung up

then he called Ace"hello, Ace speaking"   "Ace i need your help with something" "sure whats up"           "its a locked box i was hoping you can help me open it"  "sure coming"

 When they both came it was already one Max had been already bored for waiting for about 10 minutes. "Sorry I'm late" Ace said "I had chores" "me too" Rina added. "anyway can you show us the box you were talking about" sure Max said motioning them to the locked box.

Cool Ace said "its a good thing I bought my lock picking set" he brought out a small briefcase

Anyway Rina said "we should search at the attic again maybe we can find the key there" Max nodded, the went tho the attic leaving Ace trying to open the box. The Attic was still dark but luckily they brought a light, they searched and searched until they found a key, it was made by crystal, actually it was made from an emerald. They went back to the room to see Ace his arms were a shade of red like they were burned,"its so hot inside, when i tried to open it my equipment keeps melting" Ace said, "here let me try" Max said as he ran to the box, and tripped, the key flew across the room and separated in two. "noooo"Max cried as he ran to the key, it was cut straightly in two, he pick it up and went back to his room.

five o' clock when Rina and Ace went back home, but Max didn't notice he was busy weeping at the broken key, but soon ran out of tears. "why didn't I break this!" he said as he pressed both parts, it felt like there was a bump on the middle, when he checked, there was a rotatable lock, "yes!" he cried as he put back the two parts, he pushed the key in the hole expecting to be burned but nothing happened o9nly the box opened.

inside was something greed and shiny, it was a Emerald Tablet.
