"Who made you boss?" Elizabeta asked sarcastically.

Lovino knew he wouldn't be able to talk her out of it. She wanted to leave, but she needed to use her head.

Elizabeta shrugged Lovino's hand off and walked out, expecting nothing to happen. Damn was she wrong, no sooner she got to the other side of the room and tried to open the door did she notice. The door was locked. She turned and Lovino motioned for her to run back. Too late did she notice the man who began to fire a series of bullets at her.

Elizabeta stopped.  Closing her eyes, she winced, expecting to be shot within seconds. It never happened. Slowly, Elizabeta opened her eyes.

       "No....why....." She whispered.

Feliks had taken the bullets for her. He fell back and she caught him. A second man joined the other.

"We needed them alive!" The second man yelled to the first.

Elizabeta sat on her knees and rested Feliks' head on her lap. She ripped off some of the bottom of her dress and placed the cloth in the two bullet wounds on Feliks' abdomen.

"You still, like, need to do something about these split ends......." Feliks said faintly.

Elizabeta smiled weakly. How he could, even in his last moments,  comment on something so casually. He acted as if nothing was wrong. She gripped his hand tightly and he held hers back.

"Hey, Liz, can you like, tell Liet thanks for being my friend too..You two were great friends to have...I guess Lovino isn't that bad either..."

      "I- ... Of course...I'll tell him..."

     "That's like.......totally....great..."

Feliks looked away, his breathing halted. Elizabeta felt his hand go limp and her eyes widened. Silent tears fell down her cheeks once more.

Elizabeta closed Feliks' eyes with her hand and bent over to place a small kiss on his forehead.

Lovino looked to the men. At the moment they seemed to not be a major threat, he also knew know that they didn't intend to kill anyone and that he and Elizabeta,  were for now at least safe.

      Lovino walked to Elizabeta.

Suddenly a car drove into the side of the building making chunks of brick fly and dust to rise.

Before the dust had a chance to settle,  Gilbert had appeared in front of Lovino and Elizabeta. He tried to pull them to the car but Elizabeta wouldn't budge.

"Elizabeta! Ve have to go! Now! " Gilbert yelled.

"I'm not leaving Feliks in a place like this!" She yelled back.
