Date Two: You Scream, I Scream,  We All Scream for Ice Cream!

Gilbert waited. And waited. Where was Lovino?  He was supposed to be here, -Gil checked his watch- a whole six minutes ago.

"Bastard, why'd you choose an ice cream parlor?"

Gilbert looked up to see Lovino all arms crossed and pouting. Gleefully he patted the seat of the chair next to him. Lovino pulled the chair from under the table and sat.

"I vas about to send Gilbird to go and get you."

  "Honestly..."

  "Ja!"

  " That's stupid."

"Only to you! You shouldn't have made the awesome me wait for so long!"

"It was only about six minutes. Six minutes."

   "Vhatever. Let's get ice cream!"

They both stood and walked from their table to the line of different flavored ice creams and waited. A boy with sky blue eyes, blonde hair and an odd cowlick* came up to the counter. His name tag said Alfred.

" Hey dudes! Whatcha want?" Alfred asked.

As Gil ordered, Lovino looked around. He saw many couples around. He knew a few of the people, for example,  he saw in the corner of the room Francis talking to a shy boy that looked a lot like Alfred. For some reason he couldn't remember the boys name. Markus? Matt? Matthew? He looked at another couple or two, then he saw it. Outside the parlor, across the street a man was watching him. When the traffic stopped for a moment outside the man started crossing the street. He looked back at Gil and Alfred.

    "Here or to-go?" Alfred asked.

"To-go." Lovino said before Gil could say anything stupid like 'here' and get them both murdered.

Alfred put lids on the cups of ice cream and handed them to a smaller man at the cash register who weighed them. His name tag said Arthur.

"That'll be eight fifty." Arthur said bluntly.

Gil paid and gave one of the cups to Lovino. Lovi turned back to the front of the parlor and looked outside. The man was gone. He breathed a sigh of relief,  that could have been close. Who was that man?
