The Lost Kindom

Chapter five: The lost city

When we walked up to the walls I saw a man in a blue shiny suit standing with an blue pile in his right hand. I slowly backed away and moved behind Mrs. Peters using her as my human meat shield! 

Mrs. Peters looked up and started to say to the man.

" Let us pass!" I looked at Sarah who gave a slight nod

" What business do you have here!" He said in a booming voice!

She slowly moved away from me so that I was in his line of fire he then looked at Mrs. Peters and said.

" I'm so sorryMy Lady I didn't know." He said nodding slightly at two other men in the same suits on the wall!

That started pulling at a rope and the door started to open.

Mrs. Peters started to walk through the large door and I carefully followed her not wanting to be alone.

I looked back at Sarah mouthing
"What's going on?"

She just said " You'll see in a minute"

As we walked forward my eyes landed on hundreds maybe a thousand people all walking around.

We continued to walk through the loud street before we came to a halt.

Ms. Peters turned to me and said "look" nodding her head upwards.

I followed to where she pointed and saw a great, large, stone building with two set of stares going up to it. It had some windows on what I was guessing the upper floors from the looks of it. There were two huge gate sized doors on the front of it with two many in armor with pikes in there hands standing on both sides of them.

Ms. Peters started to walk up the stairs and I hesitated for a moment before following.

She went up to the two huge doors and they slowly opened.

She looked at a guard "She's with me." She said nodding in my direction the guard nodded

Ms. Peters then turned around to me. "Look I know this is probably scary and weird" yeah ya think "but it's ok go straight up ahead down the long hall past the stairs you'll se a huge throne made of gold stop there and wait got it?" She asked looking at me with raised eyebrows.

"Hallway,Stairs, gold throne got it." I said but then I looked at her with worried eyes.

"Your coming with me right?" I said not wanting to go in alone.

She looked at Sarah who slightly nodded.

" I'm gonna stay out here and Sarah will go with you until you find the throne ok?" She said giving me a questioning look

I slowly shook my head yes to witch she smiled.

" Ok your ready?" She asked

I slowly nodded not sure of what to do "As ready as I'll ever be." I said

She slowly backed out of my way.

I felt a hand in mine to which belonged to Sarah.

I slowly nodded looking down the great hall. Taking a deep breath I took one step and went in.
