After dinner, I clean up and wash dishes. Father walks behind me, trying to sneak up but his weight and the old wooden floor just don't get along.

I feel his rough hand grab my waist and I flinch hard, stopping everything I do. Turning around I see a beer in fathers hand and he's smiling.

"Give me your hand."

I don't make eye contact and look away from this bastard.

"I said give me your hand... Now!"

He yells, causing me to flinch again. A tear falls down my eye as I put my hand in his. When he starts moving my hands towards his belt, I snatch then away and run to my room. Slamming and locking the door to make sure nothing bad will happen.

It's dark outside and there's school tomorrow, so I look out my window, at the old house no one lives in and fall in my bed. Stripping underneath the cover I take off my pants, and throw them on the floor.

In the morning, the sun beams on my face and I pull the cover over my head, and curl up in a ball. It's Sunday, so today is the last day of the weekend, and sure enough ill have to go back to school.

A loud noise from outside my window makes me peek out from my cover. My glance catches a tall man walking around in the old house next door. The window is right across from mine so I can see inside. I pull my body up and look closer. His mouth starts moving so I skid off my bed and creep-crawl under the ledge of my window and out my war against the old wood.

"Yes yes, this is perfect, we want it. Here's your money, now leave."

"Now, now husband. You should know better then I play with your food."

After those words I hear a slight yelp and weird gore swishing noises. I don't know what to think or say because, I wasn't really expecting this. It feels like my heart skips a beat, but lord knows it doesn't. Did the people next door kill the landlord? Probably not. I rub my eyes and hope I'm only hearing things.

Standing up and looking out the window I see a tall boy, with hazel eyes, pale skin, dark brown hair that looks like the slightest air could blow it all away, and a killer smile. His face his covered in blood, and I take a step back. My feet get tangled in my blankets and I fall back hitting my head on the bed ledge, and everything goes black.
