"Get up!" My father tells yanking me up by my arm.
Everything is blurry, and there is more than one person here. I reach my hands out away from my father to get away from him, and I fall on my butt.
"Let me help." Says a delicate voice, sounds like my mothers, but I wouldn't know because there's not stumble in the words.
My blurry vision because to fix up, and I see the family from across the street. They look so pale, so slim, and broad.
"Here, drink this." My mother says holding a cup against my lips. I take a sip of the water, and sit on my bed. I can see perfect now, and the tall man who was telling the landlord off is standing with my dad while my mother stands with a tall lady with blonde, almost white hair, and pale skin. Her lips are as red as cherry blood, and it scares me.
"Honey, the neighbors told us they saw you fall and hit your head so we came to help. How about you sleep the rest of the day off, it's 9:03pm anyways, there's school tomorrow."
That's when my attention fully gains.
"What? How long have I been out?"
"We'll according to what the neighbors say..." My mom says exchanging looks with the tall lady, "maybe for a couple of hours?"
"I need air mom." I say standing up and dashing past everyone out my room, and out the front door.
I don't e really stop running until I reach my field. The field I always come to when I'm down, or confused, or if I need to do homework, and most of all, just cry. School tomorrow is going to be a total wreck, and I start tearing up remembering I have to go to that stupid school.
Why me? What did I ever do to deserve this? I never hurt anyone? I was always nice?
I wipe my tears and lay down in the yellow sun kisses, long grass that come up to your foreleg. If I had one wish, it would definitely be to have a happy life, like all the rest of these girls at school.
After three hours of crying and wishing and being nothing, I walk home in the dark. It's pitch black out here, but nothing really happens out here. It's silent all of the time, unless you go to the rich side. They're houses are always full of laughter and fun. Parties everyday from teenagers.
By the time I get home everyone is asleep, except for father of course.
"Ann, come here honey."
I slowly walk to my father awkwardly to his dusty couch and stand in front of him.
"Why don't you watch a movie with me? Stay a while?" He tells me patting the spot next to him, and taking another chug of his beer.
I sit down slowly, and don't make any eye contact with him. Father turns on a movie that's suppose to be funny, but every chance these people get they have sex. During a sex scene, my father puts his hand on my thigh, and goosebumps fly all over me. I slap it away. And he try's this again except his hand try's to go in my pants, but I stand up and walk towards the stairs.
"I have school in the morning. Goodnight."
Snuggling up in my blanket, sometimes I wonder, should I tell someone about my fathers actions?
