Jonathan had Dragged Jodi out to a club. Which surprised her a lot.
One being Jon barely left the house
And two neither of them were very much known for their clubbing experience.
He sat Jodi down in a chair at a table facing a small stage. He ordered them some drinks and food and then vanishes. Jodi Sighs and puts up with her boyfriend's shinanigans. Then a song comes on. A Journey song. Faithfully. She looks at the stage and sees Jonathan standing there microphone in hand as he begins to sing. "Highway run.... Into the midnight sun...Wheels go round and round. You're on my mind..." This wasn't Jon fake singing and being silly. He was actually singing. "Restless hearts....Sleep alone tonight" His eyes locked with Jodi's.
"Sending all my love along the wire..." Jodi who's never really been the one to blush. But her cheeks were red and a smile stuck on her lips
"They say that the road
Ain't no place to start a family
Right down the line it's been you and me." Jonathan knew that this was one of Jodi's favorite Journey songs.
"And loving a music man
Ain't always what it's supposed to be..." He wanted to show that he was listening and that he knew her interests.
"Oh Girl!
You stand by me
I'm forever yours
Faithfully~" Jodi pulls the mic from his hands and sits on the stage and looks at her shocked boyfriend and smiles as she continues the song. "Circus life..
Under the big top world...
We all need the clowns to make us smile..." She sang not missing a single beat. The audience was silent as Jodi sang.
"Through space and time... Always another show... Wondering where I am lost without you... And being apart ain't easy on this love affair... Two strangers learn to fall in love again..." Jon smiles at Jodi he sits next to her on the stage and takes the mic back from her
"I get the joy of rediscovering you..." He continues with a grin
"Oh girl! You stand by me...I'm forever yours! Faithfully~"
"Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh." The two begin to sing together they're voices join together in a beautiful harmony.
"Faithfully... I'm still yours... I'm forever yours~ Ever yours.. Faithfully." The song comes to and end and Jodi grins and then hugs Jonathan. "God damn it Jon! Your too sweet!" Jodi wipes her eyes. Falling more in love with Jonathan.
