CHAPTER 10
I walked into the homeroom anxiously as I fiddle with the straps of the bag. I catch the sight of an empty seat and sat on it. I scanned around my surroundings.
Most of them were talking lively as their eyes sparkled portraying their interest. One or two of them were reading a book having a keen interest in it, completely oblivious to their surroundings. Next to them were a couple, hot, in their make-out session.
I scrunched my face in disgust and slouched on my chair pulling my big hood over my face, to cover it and crossed my hands over my chest as I closed my eyes.
I just have been really anxious and restless and took extra attention to my surrounding for the past week. I don't know why. I guess I'm still paranoid about the whole mystery-stalker man who had challenged. I mean, he knows how my face looks like and my name, even though no one knows my real name back there except for Sean and Calvin. I mean, for all I know he could be watching me from the window through binoculars.
I frowned and opened my eyes to meet with a striking pair pigmented with electrifying blue.
My frown deepened.
"Zayn?" I questioned not really expecting him to talk to me.
He grinned and scraped a chair to his side to him across the floor to him making an unpleasant disturbing sound. I cringed as he sat on the chair he pulled out in front of me facing me.
"So... How is life?" He inquired as he smiled cheekily.
I frowned. "What do want Zayn?"
He pouted. "Oh come on, can't I ask an innocent question to a beautiful girl?" I rose my eyebrow.
"No. What do you want, Zayn?" I demanded again and sighed. This time annoyed by his behavior.
He grinned. "So... wanna sit with me during lunch?" He asked.
I sighed. He isn't giving up any time soon. I smiled sweetly and shook my head.
"No, I'm sorry, I have somewhere else to be." He just nodded and looked down.
"How about t'morrow?" he asked hopefully as my frown deepened.
Didn't this boy get the message?
I shook my head and opened my mouth to speak but was cut off by him.
"Oh come on Blaire, don't be a party pooper" I frowned.
"How do you know my name?" I probed.
"I-I-" He cleared his throat. "I-I just heard it when your friend called you in the hallway" He tensed out.
I rose my eyebrow. "Who?" I asked. "I don't think anyone called me. You see, I don't have my friends here" I stated as I shrugged my shoulders.
My conscience chuckled. Who am I kidding? I don't have a single friend in school.
He cleared his throat. "Um... It must be the teacher." He corrected. "Yeah... I heard it when she called you" he nodded slowly as if he had just agreed to the answer of my question.
I rose my eyebrow. "You do realize we have Mr. Sullivan for homeroom and he is a he" I corrected.
He chuckled nervously. "Yeah. Yeah. I'm just a little messed up" He smiled sweetly.
I rolled my eyes. "That, I know" I mumbled as i turned my head away.
"What?" Zayn Asked.
I shook my head and smiled sweetly. "Turn around. Mr. Sullivan is here" I informed as the teacher walked in.
