The Sky's loud silence

Xanxus scowls deepened while the alliance bosses exchange worry glances towards their brunet friend...

It has been almost an hour ever since their arrival, and Tsuna was silent ever since. Or at least he has his lips locked while that weird potion that running through his veins is working effectively which in result all of the shouts and screams that the said brunet desperately hides from the other busted out off his chest.

His hands were shaking ever so slightly too despite how much he tried to control himself. He just not yet get used to this. Getting worried about his family, I mean.

But that is life in the mafia. People tend to get injuries, and not so little of them who meet the God of death in the progress. And to be honest, the thought of it scares him than death itself...

'Mio Dio... I just want to take an easy breath for once, was that too much to ask?'  Yet it seemed the answer was obvious enough, he didn't need anyone to point him anything.

-Just then, a cup of herbal tea was presented in front of him making him blink.

"Ah, Thank you Luss-nee... But you don't have to..." He said politely when he realized that he was the only one who got the treatment.

"We insisted, Tsu-chan. You seemed stressed out. Just in case if you don't want us to know what is it about, the tea will help you relax..." Lussuria said half-lying. At least the part 'you don't want us to know' because they KNOW what he's been stressing about.

Tsuna shot him a grateful smile as he takes a sip of it as he inhaled deeply... Oh, Kami! This is exactly what he needed.

Unconsciously, Tsuna's shoulder slouched in a much-relaxed manner as a slim real smile presented on his tired face.

"Thank you... I take it that I looked awful enough to make you all worry, then?" He said shyly and some giggles and chuckles broke over it.

"You looked like shit. And here we were the one who was being attacked..." Xaxus rolled his eyes, but playful smirk presented on his face.

"Gomen... I was just worried. These guys were dangerous after all... umm... I take it back, all of you were equally dangerous actually" Tsuna joked. And it seemed to successfully break the tension between them as they began to smile also.

However, Tsuna was a very good actor, and one of his best masks was his current one. The happy-go-lucky smile that he presented to them. 

He has practised it for years before Reborn even came to his life after all. How else Nana never found out about the bullies...?

Never meant to keep it as a habit, yet here it goes again stronger than ever. Fooling people with white lies. He even has a quite new technique for the addition. Like how he manipulates his own mind to think of happy thoughts to the point that he goes autopilot while at it...

Sad indeed. But he doesn't need anyone to fuss over someone like him. Even after years, there's still this little voices inside of his head who always encourage him in many things... and this is one of his biggest secrets that he would keep it to the grave.

'It's alright, things will be alright... No one dies... and NO, I'm not blaming myself for this. I Won't... I didn't fail them... Everything is fine. Those will stay remain as nightmares alone. So just SHUT UP will you?' He tried to convince himself, still not knowing that the others were listening to his ever-growing insecurities.

If only Tsuna payed more attention, he'll see just how tight Yuni gripped Byakuran's hand while the said albino's smile is lack of humour, OR the way Dino and Enma exchanging weird glances towards each other, OR The fact that Varia was rather quiet than they usually...

But in the end, no one dares to bring this up as they silently agree to keep the fact alone... Letting the brunet heal himself for they know extending arms will only break the young man further. At least they will let him be for now.

Because tonight, They'll tell him everything...

 -and so, as they listen for his loud silence, they prayed that their plan will help their lovely friend.
