That beeping sounds slowly filtered through his consciousness as he eventually opened his eyes before that young don then winced them back shut against the brightness that causing a headache he hadn't realized he'd had until he aggravated it.

"Tsuna-sama?" A Voice. Familiar, carefully soft.

"Haya-" yet his return rasp devolved into a rough cough that turned the full-body ache into jolting pain and made his throat burn while his headache ratcheted up to 'blinding'.

"Easy, easy, Tsuna," gentle hands pressing briefly on his shoulders, warning against movement more than actually restraining before one moved to his forehead and the other settled over his heart.

The coolness, 'it feels nice', that brunet noted absently, turning his head into the press of his rain's palm.

"Does that help?" Takeshi softly asked as Tsuna managed a weak hum.

"Ah, he is here," Hayato murmured against footsteps halting nearby.

Tsuna them felt Takeshi's hand off his forehead along with the coolness, he whined a little. But he can sense how his rain and storm distancing away, 'did they actually left me alone?' he slightly panicked.

"Don't... go..." he said raspily called, in which someone else replied instead, "Mattaku... for you to get knocked out over such a cold. It's pretty lame, don't you think?"

Tsuna recognized this voice immediately even without his sight telling him, 'Reborn...'

"Then I guess once a Dame will remain Dame..." The hitman murmured again. But knowing him through the years, that young don could see through those words...

Admission of fear 'Had to be bad then', but Tsuna had already figured out his throat wasn't going to be cooperating enough to let him respond verbally.

Apparently, Reborn could see that, yet still, he asks, "on the scale of one to ten. How bad's the pain?" he asked, as he offers his own hand near Tsuna's so that the brunet could sign his answer.

Meanwhile, Tsuna is considering the question and was about to reply 4 not to worry his friends, yet Reborn has retreated his palm again as he deduced the answer himself.

"Well, judging from the fact that you can't even see my hand's movement and just how slow your reaction is. I'll say that it was at least 8. Probably 9 for the head?" At this, Tsuna let out a weak huff as if saying, 'why did you even ask then?'

Luckily enough, Reborn is being nice today...

Well, probably not this early morning, and certainly not towards those f***ers who dares to injures Tsuna earlier. But one for sure, he is being nice now, mostly because he feels guilt started to climb up on his throat, Something that he hadn't had in the longest time ever since that Future Arc, where he felt like a true failure for letting Tsuna dead.

And, honestly he almost did it again...

Because Tsuna's heart stopped twice over a late-reaction towards Verde's 'honest potion' he had given to the brunet. Not quite sure of what's the actual reason, but the green scientist has pointed 'flames that goes hairy' and 'depression' as the main reason. Oh, and the possibility of 'mild-allergies-reaction' and 'chemical-poisoning' that he once mentioned, sounds pretty serious as well.

Yeah, anyways some days later, after the whole Fiasco, then it brings us to today...

'a strong lightning...' -Tsuna can faintly sense the flame of the person who's been around him in silence if not murmuring things too lowly to be heard by him. One thing for sure, 'this guy is not Dr. Frederick, or Shamal, and for certainly not Onii-san... So, who-?'
