Chapter 16 : The Resistance

"By the way, my name is Equinox. I am the captain of Squadron 1. Nice to meet you" said the alien. "I'm sorry about the fuss earlier. As you can see, Ocrillon is not as peaceful as it used to be" 

"What happened here?" Kaizo ask

"A lot of things happened here. I can't explain it. But the elders can" Equinox answer

Axion and Kaizo look at each other in confuse. 

"We're here" said Equinox.

They go through bushes and see people of Ocrillon looking at them. Camps made out of woods and leaves scattered.

"Come" said Equinox as he invite Boboiboy and the others.

They walk through small camps toward a big camp in the middle. People of Ocrillon look at them in wonder.

"Elders, i am Equinox, leader of squadron 1. I brought guest with me" said Equinox as soon as they enter.

"Guest? Welcome. Who might you be?" ask an alien. He looks much older than Equinox and he wear what seems to be a commander suit.

"Greeting. I am Captain Kaizo. And this is my team. We came from TAPOPS to answer a distress call" said Kaizo

"The distress call, yes. So you're from TAPOPS. At last, the blessing of the stars is on us" said another alien-man.

"Thank you for coming here. My name is  Vruor'ilz. I am one of the Elders, commander of eastern Ocrillon. I am grateful that you would come to aid us"

"So, what can we do?" Kaizo ask

"Help us reclaim our home" said Vluox'iw, commander of western Ocrillon.

"A black ship came to our planet a few stellar cycle ago. The ship brought a group of aliens that we don't know" said Vruor'ilz. "They poisoned our river and our land. The woods stop singing and the wind stop humming. They took our space station and we are forced to seek refuge here in the middle of this forest." he continue

"We tried to fight back. But they're too strong. Our army can't fight against their weapon" said Vluox'iw

"These, aliens. what are they look like?" Axion ask.

"Black. Their skin is as hard as metal. They have head like a beast. Sharp teeth and claws." said Vluox'iw.

"We've searched about their species but we can't find anything about them" Vruor'ilz add

Suddenly, someone barge into the camp.

"Commander..... report!!!. Elder Vrur'ehm has been captured by enemy" said the alien.

"What??!!! How?" ask Vruor'ilz in disbelief 

"We were looking for food when they came, The commander and his team tried to fight back and give us time to get back here. But they were outnumbered" 

"Do you know where they took him?" Axion ask

"To-.....to the Space station. Probably. They were heading east." 

The elder's camp is filled with tense.

"Let's go save him then" said Boboiboy.

The Elders, Kaizo and Axion look at Boboiboy in surprise.

"How? This is a war. With what army are you going to get him back?" Axion ask.

"Well... uhhh.... I don't know. But we can't just stay and do nothing" said Boboiboy

"Boboiboy is right. We must help" Yaya add.

Axion look at Kaizo and Kaizo look back in wonder.

"Very well then. We'll make plan. We sneak into the Space station, get him out and get back here" said Axion.

 "Do you have the space station's blue prints?" Axion ask

"Ye-...yes..yes.. of course" said  Vruor'ilz as he hurriedly go to get the blue print

Kaizo stare at Axion. 

"I bet I can kick them better than you" said Axion. Knowing Kaizo's worry

"Hmph. You haven't seen my upgrade" Kaizo reply

"Oh, is that the one that starmier gave you?" said Axion in sarcastic voice

"Noo...." said Kaizo as he step closer to Axion "It's the one that I get myself" he add

Axion walk through the woods. The resistance camp is silent with no one awake. She sharpen her ears as she take step by step to the woods. Eyes closed,  arm stretched.

"What are you doing? " ask Kaizo who followed her

Axion open her eyes and look back.
"Listening" she answer.

"You don't seem surprised"

"Why should i?  I can hear you ever since you follow me from the camp" said Axion in confident

"I wasn't that noisy"

"I have good ears" Axion grin

Kaizo walk closer and stand in front of Axion. He stare down looking Axion in her eyes as he feel a strange feeling in his heart. Axion can feel Kaizo's breath as she look up to Kaizo's eyes with hope. For a moment, they hoped that this "time" that they shared together would last long. 

"Remember when I leave you back on Cybertron? The voice of your singing brought me" Kaizo start. "When we first reach Ocrillon, I was wondering if i can hear music the way I hear your voice" he add

Axion look down. She let out a rather distressed sigh. 

"Well, It's been a while since the last time I sing. And I doubt if my voice is as beautiful as you once heard" said Axion

Kaizo chuckled.

Kaizo walk away, leaving Axion looking at his back. 

"I..." he sigh "I'm..... sorry." he continue

Axion stare in wonder.

A moment of silence engulf them until Axion start asking.

"For what?"

"I'm sorry.. For leaving you... back then at Cybertron" Kaizo answered. He suddenly turn back to see Axion. "I shouldn't have left you there. If I know Cybertron would end up like that......... I would...," Kaizo suddenly stopped. Thinking of an appropriate word but failed. 

"Why would it be your fault?" ask Axion. 

Kaizo startled. He's confused as he couldn't find answers. 

"It.... it's just......" Kaizo stutters

Axion smiled. "And if you know Cybertron would fall, what would you do?"

"I would have forced you harder to come with me" Kaizo answered with confident.

Axion gasp. 

"I would have dragged you to my ship, whether you like it or not" said Kaizo. He look away to avoid Axion's eyes. 

Axion stare tightly, slightly hoped, trying to read Kaizo's mind. 

"What already done, is done." said Axion. "I don't blame you for leaving me nor do i regret staying at Cybertron" she continue. "We should get some rest for tomorrow" 

Kaizo try to stop her but Axion is already on her way out of the forest.
