Chapter 9 : Unknown Heart

Axion stand on the roof. Holding her shaking hands, she try to control her breath as she try to control her heart.
"All these years, all I know is the bond that I create amongst my brethren. Never once I know the foolish feeling of love towards a man nor will I willingly succumb to it" she thought to herself.
"What is this feeling? I refuse to accept it" she continue to ignore her feeling.
Vion sadly stare at his master from afar.
"You who seek refuge in Cybertron after seeing countless lost by your own kind, Oh what a torment it is to you. Avoiding love as you afraid of being left" Vion thought to himself.
Vion stare tightly at Axion until he realize Optimus walk past him toward Axion. As always, he sit beside Axion. Noticing Optimus, Axion try to calm.
"What is it old friend?" Optimus ask
"Oh, n-nothing" said Axion
"Something troubles you"
"Is it so obvious?"
"I've known you for a long time. You can't hide it from me"
Axion chukle in bitterness "I don't know. This.... Strange feeling that i feel. It confuse me. I try to conceal it, ignore it. But it keeps coming" said Axion in anxiety
"Perhaps you need not to ignore it. I too ever fell in love Axion. And I know your feeling toward Kaizo"said Optimus
Axion shrugged "If it is love, then i don't want it. My duty is standing by your side, till all are one"
"I am happy to hear that. But it is your heart and your will. The choice is yours and yours only to decide" said Optimus. "Your happiness count too" he continue as he stand.
Knowing that Axion need alone time, Optimus left, leaving Axion with her own mind. Optimus give a small nod, telling Vion to follow him.
Axion scrub her arm, restlessly gazing at the stars, she begin to sing.

"Is this?" Iron hide ask
"I think it is" said Jazz
Kaizo look up and listen to Axion's voice. Her voice is so true that it resonate even to the ears of megatron.
"Ahhh she sing. It's been a while" said Megatron.
"Ahh the singing of Axion. How beautiful" Starscream sneer.
Optimus close his eyes, listening to the song. "She haven't sing since the war started" he thought to himself.
Mesmerized by the voice, the Autobots stopped what they're doing.
Kaizo walk, following the singing voice until he arrive at the roof. He stare at Axion until she finish her song.
"I never know that you can sing" said Kaizo as he walk closer to Axion.
Axion nervously turn her head at Kaizo. Unable to see him in the eye, Axion look away at the stars.
Silence filled their moment.
"Come with me" said Kaizo, slightly trying to put out his courage.
Axion turn her head at Kaizo.
Kaizo turn at Axion and look her in the eyes. "Come with me. Travel the universe" said Kaizo. Kaizo take Axion's hand and hold it. "We can go, together" he continue.
Axion stand still. She look down to see the Autobots doing their duty before she stare back at Kaizo.
Axion sigh "I can't" she said as she try to put up a smile. "I can't leave the Autobot. I can't leave Optimus" she answer.
The pain of disappointment struck Kaizo.
"Of course" said Kaizo as he awkwardly look down
"Can't you stay? "
Startled, Kaizo look at Axion in silence.
"I can't. I need to search for power, and make sure that it won't fall to the wrong hand" said Kaizo
"What about the Prime Nafratoer? " ask Axion as if trying to find a reason for him to stay.
"I know you can get it without me" Kaizo reply with a smile.
Still holding hands,  they both stand in silence. Avoiding each other eyes,  not knowing what to say.

"Captain,  everything is ready" said Pang.
Kaizo nod at Pang before he turn to Axion who stand behind him.
"I will return here as soon as possible" said Kaizo. He look up at Optimus and exchange nod.
Kaizo walk towards his spaceship. The spaceship fly away as the Autobots wave their hand. Axion look up at the sky, wondering if they would ever meet again.
