Chapter 6 : Tunnels

Axion and Kaizo arrived at Altihex. They hide under a debris of a building.
"Just in case, we need to turn of anything that may trigger decepticon's radar" said Axion
Kaizo nod and begin setting his watch.
"We can't ride from here. We'll walk to our destination" said Axion.
Axion walks towards Altihex and Kaizo follow her.
Upon arriving at the energon refinery, they hide behind a big wall of metal. Axion and Kaizo use their mask to look around.
"Decepticons, guarding the energon refinery" said Axion
"Let's go step by step without alarming them" said Kaizo
Axion nod.
Bit by bit they're getting closer with the entrance. They walk into the energon refinery and make their way towards the very back of it.
"This should be deep enough. Decepticon won't find us here" said Axion. She looked at her left hand and begin scanning.
"I got sight of tunnels ahead this wall. It just if we can find an entrance to go through" said Axion
Suddenly, Kaizo pull his sword. "Energy sword slash"
Axion shocked. "What are you doing?!! " Axion ask angrily
"We need to go through. I'm making us a way" Kaizo answer
"You're making too much noise. What if they find us?! " Axion reply
"You said they won't find us here" said Kaizo
Axion rolled her eyes.
They put their helmet in night mode and begin exploring the dark tunnel.
Hours passed. They keep on walking deeper until they heard a metalic sound. Axion and Kaizo looked around, alerted by the sound. They looked at each other and another metalic sound ringing behind them. They immediately look back to find nothing behind them. Kaizo pull his sword. Seeing Kaizo, Axion pull her gun. Soon, they heard a screeching sound from afar, followed by buzzing sound. The sound came closer and they see light with unknown shadows.
"Insecticons!! "Axion yell as the creatures show themselves.
They run deeper, not caring wich way they take. Until they reach a dead end.
Axion and Kaizo looked at the high wall.
"Dead end" said Kaizo
They turn back and see swarm of insecticons coming closer. Axion and Kaizo pull their weapon, ready to fight. They fight fiercely for their life.
"There are too many of them" said Axion
Kaizo look up at the ceiling. "Get back" he yell. Kaizo swing his sword up and make the ceiling crumble. Axion look up and jump back. The ceiling began crumble and debris fall on the insecticon. The debris can hold the insecticon behind, but also block the only way. They put their weapons back.
"Can you make way? " ask Kaizo
Axion
Axion hit the end of the tunnel with her hand.
"It looks like the wall is too hard to destroy. I don't think we can make our own way out here" said Axion. She look at her watch and begin pressing buttons.
"What are you doing?" Kaizo ask
"Sending codes to Autobot. They must have something big enough to get us out of here" said Axion
Kaizo and Axion decided to sit and wait for help.
"How long do you think they need to reach us? " ask Kaizo
"I don't know. I don't even know whether my message has reached or not" said Axion
"What? What do you mean? "
"We're too deep underground. My communication can't reach them. So I'm sending codes instead"
"Sounds like we'll be staying for a while here"said Kaizo.
They stay in silence for a while.
"So,  you've been travelling a lot?" ask Axion trying to break the ice. "Must be nice huh?  Going on an adventure " she add
"Well, the adventure part IS fun" said Kaizo. "But you gotta be strong. The universe is not filled with good aliens only" he add
"I can see that"
"You know,  I must admit,  you're pretty good with that sword" Kaizo continue.
"Thanks,  you're pretty strong too. It's been a while since the last time I fight with someone like you" said Axion
"My team could really use your skills" said Kaizo
Axion let out a small laugh
"That's sound nice" she said
They stay in silence again. Not knowing what to say.
"Do you think the autobot already get the message? " ask Kaizo
"I don't know.  I hope so"
Kaizo look at Axion and see her hughing her knee. He wrap Axion in his arm. Axion hesitantly lay back and let her head fall on Kaizo's chest.
"It's getting cold here" said Kaizo
"The wind must've come through holes around those debris. We're too deep to be exposed near warm energy source,  but we're not deep enough to feel the warmth of Prime's spark" said Axion
"We need to find alternative somehow. We can't stay here for too long" Axion continue as she look around.
