What if Rose had never gotten a key to Regal Academy, but she learned the truth about Fairytales and magic at a young age. Would she have ever met her teammates Hawk, Astoria, Joy, Travis and Lingling? Would she still be a real fan of Fairytales?
If you haven't watched episodes 2x08 (Into the Enchanted Forest) or 2x13 (A day at Merlin Academy), don't read this since this theory has spoilers in it.
I've been thinking about Hawk's sister, Fala, and I've developed a theory that Kira is actually Fala.
First I always thought it was weird that Kira is the daughter, instead of the granddaughter of the Snow Queen. I mean, the Snow Queen seems to be the same age as Cinderella and the other teachers and they all have grandchildren who are the same age as Kira. Sure the Snow Queen could've had Kira really late, but I think it's more possible that Kira is actually adopted.
Second, if we agree on that Kira is actually adopted, then she must be from another family with snow magic, since it's similar to her crystal magic, which is the Snow White family. Or she is related to Jack Frost and doesn't know it.
Third, in the episode "Into the Enchanted Forest" they find out that Fala was captured by Titania, a witch in the Enchanted Forest, and later was given to the Snow Queen in return for a potion. That means she was last seen in the clutches of the Snow Queen. This is an actual fact from the show.
I do also see a resemblance between Kira and the picture of Fala

I know in episode 13 season 2, they go to Merlin Academy and there is this other girl, Sandra, with a mirror version of herself and she has apple magic, so she could also be Fala. (I've only seen the episode in italian and I don't speak italian). But then why would the Snow Queen send her to Merlin Academy instead of Regal Academy. Unless the Snow Queen traded Fala for a potion with another villain, who's from Merlin's story. Also in "Mirror Madness" we see that mirror magic can be used by people who are not related to the Snow White family, so how hard can it be for a non-Snow White family to create a mirror-self. I really hope we get to see how Hawk met Mirror-Hawk for the first time and how Mirror-Hawk was created in the first place later in this show.

Another question is if Kira is Fala, how did she stay young? In the picture she seems to be 15-16 years old, but Hawk said she disappeared when he was 3-5 years old. He's now 15-16, which means Fala's been gone for a decade, so she would be in her mid twenties and Kira's 15-16. It could be that the Snow Queen froze her for a decade (in the movies I've watched, they always freeze people to keep them young) or the Snow Queen used some kind of youth spell. After a decade the Snow Queen released Fala from the spell, erased her memories and gave her fake memories about being the Snow Queen's daughter, Kira.
Or we still haven't actually seen Fala. She could either be a slave to the Snow Queen who we haven't seen yet or she's stuck in a snow globe.
To tell you the truth, I really hope that Kira is Fala. I kind of like Kira and I think that when Kira remembers being Fala, she's going to have deal with the guilt of trying to hurt her brother as Kira. Or she realizes she likes being evil, which would make an interesting storyline, including an funny facial expression from Snow White, when she realizes one of her grandchildren is actually a villain.
