biography. -- nori was born in toronto to her single mom and older brother, morgan or rogan as he went by. rogan was only three when nori was born and he accepted his younger sister immediately. the whole royce family was incredibly close. from a young age, nori had issues when it came to sleep. she would stay up all night and never show signs of exhaustion, but about once every month she'd completely pass out, always from exhaustion, and then she'd sleep for hours. when she did sleep during the night, she'd suffer from extreme nightmares, sleep walking or sleep paralysis. nori went to countless doctors and they never could diagnose her with anything. when nori was ten, someone claiming to be her dad showed up on her doorstep late at night. nori ran to get her mom, who invited the guy in. apparently, he was her birth father. he explained to nori and her mom about him, and what was happening with her. she was a demigod, and her dad was the god of dreams. that was why her sleep was so messed up. morpheus taught nori's mom how to disguise her from monsters, but warned her that when she started to become a preteen, it'd be harder to hide her. nori stayed with her mom until she was twelve, and then she was sent to camp half blood.
top secrets. -- she doesn't really have any big secrets, but she is very secretive
biggest fear. -- getting a deadly disease or one of her close friends dying in war hogwarts house. -- ravenclaw because of her thoughtfulness and philosophical intelligence. she's very mature and conscious of things, and considers herself an advocate for rights of all sorts, specifically racial rights. powers. -- manipulation of dreams ability to function with little to no sleep manipulation of sleep ability to enter people's dreams and control them with some difficulty, she can make people sleep in a coma like state of as long as she wants, but this is draining to her
relationships with other characters. --
percy jackson. -- percy and nori arrived at camp about the same time, and nori was quick to buddy up with him during training. the two got along incredibly well and nori always checks up on him during his quests to make sure he's alright.
annabeth chase. -- annabeth quickly became friends with nori, as annabeth was a counselor at chb and nori was new. at first annabeth didn't understand why nori liked percy so much (as a friend), but now she gets it.
grover underwood. -- grover and nori are on good terms, but they aren't incredibly close. they often end up hanging out, as their friends are the same.
jason grace. -- nori liked jason as soon as he showed up at chb. sure he seemed to like piper at first, but nori still became a very close friend of his. her relationship with him is like her's with percy but more romantic.
piper mclean. -- piper was originally jealous of nori, as the boy she'd been convinced she was dating was actually starting to like nori, but since piper is so kind, she got over it. piper was quick to realize that she never really liked jason, it was just an implanted memory by hera.
leo valdez. -- leo and nori are good friends. leo always likes to tease nori and jason about their relationship and make jokes like "make sure you're being safe lovebirds." or "don't hookup without us knowing." it doesn't bother nori too much but it always makes jason a bit embarrassed and flustered.
frank zhang. -- frank finds nori and her powers absolutely fascinating. she can control dreams, so often frank will give her requests. nori finds him adorable, in a completely platonic way, and his questions amusing. she'll often stay up talking with him about stuff like world problems or philosophy.
hazel levesque. -- hazel likes that nori and frank are so close, as frank often has difficultly warming up to people, so she really appreciates how close nori is with him. hazel likes to talk with nori as well, as nori is really good at giving advice.
nico di angelo. -- nori considers nico to be her best friend in the whole world. when he first arrived at camp and his sister went in that quest, nori spent most of her time with him. nico, being a son of hades, doesn't sleep much either, so he'd stay awake with nori. now they tell each other everything and nori knew about his crush on percy as soon as he found out.
will solace. -- will sees nori like nico's sister, and treats her as such. when will wanted to first ask nico out, he went to nori for permission and ideas on how to ask. will and nori love talking to each other, and often chat like middle aged dads.
reyna arellano. -- reyna has similar feelings to nori as she did to piper, as reyna had liked jason for so long and now he was dating nori. nori tried her best to get reyna to like her, and after a bit reyna warmed up to nori and now the two are close.
