richie tozier. -- richie is probably kat's closest friend in the world. they grew up as neighbors and spend loads of time together. despite being exact opposites, they managed to stay close their whole lives. kat always helped richie in school, and richie introduces kat to the losers club.
bill denbrough. -- bill and kat are quite good friends as well. bill is a perfect friend for kat, as he's also a pretty quiet guy. when bill and kat hang out they usually just sit in bill's room together and work on their individual stuff.
stan uris. -- as soon as richie introduced kat to the losers, stan and her clicked. stan was immediately smitten with kat, as she was unlike any of the girls he'd ever met at school. not that he knew many of the girls. kat and stan got close pretty quick and started hanging out alone, which led to them dating. they never officially started dating, they just got closer and closer and everyone just kind of assumed they were together.
eddie kaspbrak. -- eddie always spent a lot of time with kat. sonia liked kat because kat has a good reputation among the parents in derry, so kat was always invited over. kat would help tutor eddie, which made sonia like her even more.
mike hanlon. -- when mike first joined the losers club, kat was super shy around him. mike was convinced she didn't like him, until kat started warming up to him, then they got along pretty well.
beverly marsh. -- bev and kat didn't really like each other until bev joined the losers. kat never believed the rumors about bev because she doesn't trust word of mouth stuff, but kat didn't really like bev's attitude, and bev thought kat was stuck up. when bev joined the club richie made the two girls start talking, and they ended up becoming really close.
ben hanscom. -- when ben first joined the losers kat was really welcoming to him. she felt bad for him because he didn't have friends before the losers, and kat appreciated his interest in history. kat would often accompany ben to the library after what happened with the bowers gang.
