I don't even REMEMBER Mom using a spell, last night she told me that Neptune (my mom's Head Of Staff) had rebelled, and a fight had begun, I remember THAT, then Neptune ordered a portion of his guard to get Audrey and I. Mom, thinking fast, sent a spell to surround us. (Audrey and I) The spell didn't work how it should, so it backfired on us. Audrey and I fell instantly asleep. Neptune, being hopelessly outmatched, snatched Audrey and hurried away. I was brought to my room, under the care of Lizzie and two other nurses. I stayed there for a year. And that's how Mom got the scar on her arm. The most powerful part of the backfired spell her directly, the price, of two sleepy children. Mom said it was the water gods; angry that she hadn't thought. She just did. She was too mad to think.

"Would you like something to eat?" Bell's voice startled me.

"Sure," I hadn't realized that I was hungry. "Thanks," I called after her. I looked across the room, Lizzie was sitting in a chair by the window, I hadn't ever noticed her before, I studied her. She had long, gray hair, and her face was wrinkled. Her tail shone, it was a glittery gold. She looked over and smiled.

"Anything I can do for you?" She asked in a kind, voice.

"Can you call in Sammy? I want to talk to her."

"Of course," she left the room. Annalise came in, her colorful tail swishing.

"Here you go!" She said cheerfully, handing me an envelope. I opened the letter it said;

Aryella,

I have an idea of where Audrey is. Are you alright? When will they let you out? I' will come get you and we'll be on our way. Okay? I have Audrey's old diary --- it's linked to the diary she has now. Find me in your garden. (the one below your window.) See you then,

I hugged the letter to my chest, smiling, I was going on another adventure. I grabbed a note card and wrote;

Sammy swam in. I hugged my dolphin friend and we began our reunion. -Aryella
