Heey, so I've been trying this new fanfiction about Vampire Academy, because let's face it ; We all love Rose and Dimka don't we? Yeah, that's what I thought ;D

So the story starts in Shadow Kiss, the attack never happened (;

 Chapter one

RPOV

I am on my way to see Lissa when I see Dimitri sitting on a bench, just staring ahead.

“Hi, comrade, what's going on?” I asked, laughing down at him. God, how I love this man.

He sighs and looks at me and that look tells me bad news is coming, that thought was right because the next thing he says makes my world come crushing down.

“Rose there is no other way to tell you this, but I'm leaving. I'm going to accept Tasha's offer to become her guardian.” Wow, what?

It takes me sometime to figure out what he had just said, I feel like someone just punched me in the face…with a chair.

“Wait, what?” I am yelling now, “I don't get it, why would you leave? What about Lissa? What about us?”

A tear threatens to escape my eye; I remember how I felt in the cabin, like everything was finally right. When I couldn't tell where my body started and his ended. Everything was perfect...

What happened to 'where going to try this!'? I mean I know how thing are always going to be difficult for us, but we could try. Right?

“I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but I... I don't have feelings for you anymore Rose, last week in the cabin that was...” he stopped a while, thinking about his words. “It was a mistake and I'm sorry if I gave you more hope than I should have.”

He doesn't even look at me, please look at me, I think, please look at me and tell me this is some twisted joke. Please!

“But you...we...I, this better be a twisted joke!” I say, I don't even recognize my own voice. As always he's very good at hiding his emotions.

When he finally looks at me, his beautiful brown eyes are cold, I can't find the warm, loving look he gave me, when we were back at the cabin.

“You'll be fine, Rose, Lissa will be fine, you guys don't need Me.” he takes a big breath and starts leaving, and all the things I want to yell at him are stuck in my throat. So here I am, seeing the man I love more than anything, leave me behind.

DPOV

It hurts me to hurt Rose, I could just go lay down and die for all I care. I can't believe I did that... but if I want her to have the best guardian life this is what I need to do. I told her the time we spend in the cabin was a mistake, I lied, it was perfect in every way, but Roza's heart needs to be free from me.

I keep walking, leaving my world, my beautiful Roza behind.

I'm on my way to meet Tasha and to tell her I'll leave with her.
