"You are under arrest for the murder of your twin, Willow." the Ralien policewoman stated as she placed the laser cuffs around Wren's wrists.
Wren stood with the blue blood of his twin smeared across his white uniform shirt. He wiggled against the cuffs but was fearful to test them too much. The lasers would activate if put under too much pressure leaving the contained being with two cauterized stumps instead of hands.
"I didn't do this." He stared coldly into the policewoman's eyes.
"That's what they all say." She rolled her eyes as she shoved him into the back of her hovering patrol craft.
Once the policewoman took off, Wren took once last glance at his twin sister's lifeless body. A deep seeded hatred sprung through him, and an evil grin flashed across his face.
Of course he had slit her from ear to ear. Willow was the perfect one. The one who his parents admired. The one who had a successful life. Even though they were born at the same time, he always had lived in her shadow.
He finally had the last laugh now, and he had a way out of this predicament. He was too intelligent for them.
Death was the crime for killing ones twin. But in a world filled with doubles of everyone, it happened quite often.
The craft stopped. "We are here." the policewoman said as she jerked him out of the back.
He glanced up to the Ralien Confinement Center. So dark and dreary. Luckily, he had laid the DNA of Willow's boyfriend underneath her nails.
Ah yes, he wouldn't be here long at all ...
