"We know they have Boyd and Erica," Derek continued. "Peter, Issac, and I have been looking for him for the last four months." A million questions ran through my head at this time. Who were Boyd and Erica? Were they human or supernatural? Was Derek talking about Peter Hale? Did Issac get hurt from Deucalion? I wanted to ask every one of them, but I decided against it. Looking at all of their faces, they were currently under severe pressure and probably did not want an outsider to get all into their business. Hell, I don't even know if they want me here.
"Let's say you find them," Scott said, interjecting my thoughts. "How do you deal with an Alpha Pack?" he then questioned, stepping forward towards Derek and me.
"With all the help I can get," Derek answered while looking towards Scott and then turning his attention towards me. "Mind helping us, Hope? I know it has nothing to do with you, but we need as many people as we can get on our side." As much as I hated supernatural drama, I had no excuse to refuse. The Hales took my mom and me in when we had nowhere else to go and helped us find a piece of the cure that reunited my family. The least I could do was help kill the Alphas that posed a threat towards them.
"Sure," I said after a brief moment of contemplation. Crossing my arms and looking at the three boys that held a hardened look upon their faces I added, "just tell me who to kill."
"Woah, Woah, wait we don't-" Scott began, but was quickly cut off by the sound of Issac's voice in the other room.
"Where is she," Issac began, sitting upwards while looking a bit dazed. "Where's the girl?"Issac asked once more, a sense of urgency flooding his words.
"What girl?" Derek questioned with a hint of concern in his voice.
"She-she saved me. Where is she? What happened to her," Issac interrogated again, this time getting slightly more aggressive.
"She saved you from what, Issac. Tell me," Derek said, now alarmed.
"The Alphas," Issac answered, still on edge.
"What happened," Derek asked, now at Issac's side. He had begun to try to calm Issac down, but to no avail, the poor boy was just as jumpy as before
"I-I don't know. I can't remember," Issac exasperated while racking his brain for answers. Looking at Derek with panicked eyes and quick breaths he then pleaded, "Why can't I remember anything?" Derek looked at Scott, Stiles, and I with a pressing look in his eyes and nodded his head towards the door as a signal to leave him alone with him.
Before I exited the decrepit house, Derek grabbed my wrist and spun me around to face him. "I have a loft with an extra room that you can stay in. Here is the address. I'll meet you there after I deal with Issac." He then placed a crumpled up piece of paper with his address sprawled out in messy handwriting.
With a slight wave and a spin on my heels, I was out the door. Whatever that boy was going through, I was sure Derek could handle it. I had just gone down the steps that led to the house when I heard Scott and Stiles "silently" arguing behind me.
"No dude, it's weird to go to a party where we don't know anyone."
"Please? I do favors for you all the time. It'll be fun, I promise."
"I'm not in a party mood right now, Stiles."
"Come on, you'll have me - and Hope can go too." At the sound of my name, I slowed down the pace of my steps. Without a moment to lose, I heard Stiles call out my name, "HEY HOPE." Stopping in my tracks and swiftly turning around, I looked at the two boys arguing in front of a vintage blue jeep.
