Chirrping woke Aria the next morning and she rolled over to see Ricky and Gideon play fighting on the side of the bed.
"You two..." She ran a soft hand over their heads before running to the kitchen. Bill was already awake and making breakfast.
"Thought I would make you breakfast." Bill said and placed a plate in front of her.
"Thank you Bill!" A small amount was put in two dishes and the Pigmys attacked it. "What time do you have to be at the Bank?"
"8. It's only 7 right now so I was going to head over after letting you know that food was under a warming charm but you woke on your own." Bill ruffled Aria's hair and she laughed.
"Thanks Bill! Good Luck!" Bill waved as he left and Aria gathered everything she was going to need for the shopping spree she was planning on.
Ricky and Gideon were back sleeping on the pillows of her bed so Aria left them there with a gentle smile.
Aria spent a lot of the time down Knockturn Alley compared to Diagon Alley. A lot of the stores down that way sold things you couldn't get your hands on regularly; so many books that Aria wanted were there.
Aria was near Ollivanders when a quiet squeak and tugging on her clothes caught her attention. Ricky and Gideon had woken up and - in not finding her - tracked her out into Diagon.
"Trouble makers the both of you." Aria chided but picked them up and placed on them on her shoulders. "Come along then, I'm going to find a new owl."
Both chirrped and looked around at the birds and other assorted animals available. A soft hoot and a light weight on her head drew Aria's attention to an owl that had taken interest in her.
It was - to her shock and happiness - a smaller Hedwig.
"Hedwig?" Said owlet cooed a greeting, settling down in her hair. "It's good to see you too girl."
The man at the counter was shocked at Hedwig's behavior but graciously said nothing, only getting the things I needed for her in a hurry.
Aria knew she would have to leave Ricky and Gideon at home when she went to school, so having Hedwig back was wonderful. Bill would enjoy having the two fluff balls around anyway, so Aria didn't feel so bad.

Bill arrived back at the apartment quite tired but the sight in the living room caught him off guard.Aria was passed out on a new couch, lightly snoring, and there were about 10 books surrounding her. Ricky and Gideon were sleeping in the crook of her neck and a small snowy owl was asleep on her chest.
Another small owl was curled up on the end of couch, the post service symbol around its neck.
Bill gave them a soft smile before placing the books on the coffee table and grabbing a blanket to cover the girl with. He got near her hands and finally noticed the letter clutched in her hands and the dried tear trails on her face.
