It took Aria a little bit to wake up from the blast to the past (*snort*) but when she did, it was to the sight of the cupboard ceiling.Ricky and Gideon let out quiet chirrps and Aria pet them to quiet them. "It's okay. We'll get out of here soon."
True to Aria's word, Petunia opened the cupboard door a half an hour later. "Get up girl! Go make breakfast!"
Aria made no protest and did as ordered, hiding everything brought back inside her extendable bag.
Petunia answered the phone, giving her niece the stink eye. Everything played out at Aria remembered, Dudley's tantrum included.
"We can't take her! She'll ruin everything!" Dudley whined and Aria sighed.
"Aunt Petunia may I talk to you?" Petunia went into the kitchen. "I know what I am. If you leave me at Chearing Cross, I won't darken your doorstep again."
Petunia looked shocked but contemplating at the same time. "Ever again?"
"As long as you give me everything that belonged to my mother or father and drop me off on the way to the Zoo." Aria knew she was going to take the offer as soon as it was out of her mouth.
"I need to speak with Vernon and get something out of the attic. Be ready girl!" Aria grinned down at her pockets where the two Pigmy's were peeking out.
"Far too easy." Both boys purred and then dropped back in her pocket as Vernon came in the kitchen.
"What is this that pet said about dropping you off in London?" Aria gave him a flat look.
"I know you don't like me. Drop me off at Chearing Cross Road and I'll never darken your doorstep again." Vernon didn't even let her say another word.
"Done! Dudley get in the car we've got trash to drop off first!" Vernon's words hurt for about a second before Petunia came downstairs lugging a school trunk.
"This was Lily's. I don't want this freakishness in the house so take it with you." Aria took the shrunken trunk with gentle hands and a sense of awe. She had never known about this trunk before she came back.
The drive was quiet and Vernon peeled out as soon as Aria was out of the car. She shrugged and made her way into the Leaky Cauldron, putting her mom's trunk in her side bag.
Aria made her way to the side podium and gave a small smile to the teen that was there. "Hi I need a little help opening the portal...Could you do that for me?"
The teen grinned down at her and motioned to the door. "Come on with me kid. I'll get you through."
Aria fairly skipped behind the teen and then chirped a thank you as she ran through the portal.
Gringotts loomed above her as she approached. The transferred memories allowed Aria a bit of a heads up as she approached the only open teller.
Greetings Master Teller. May your Gold be as plentiful as your defeated foes. The teller looked shocked but then answered in kind.
Greetings Young Witch. May your gold multiply under our rule. How may I be of service? Straight to business with Goblins, that was always nice.
I have this letter for the Master of the Horde and strict orders from a Ritual Mistress to see the Head Healing Mistress. Apparently time travel is hard on the body. If this had been any other situation Aria would have been laughing, but this was far to serious. The Goblin was completely dumbfounded and the normal straight face look was traded fro
