Bill woke both of them the next morning with breakfast and a kiss for Aria before leaving for work. He hadn't had the heart to wake them the night before because of how cute they were together.
Neither Remus or Aria wanted to be separated for long and Aria finally snapped.
"Just stay on the other floor Moony! You and Siri can have your space but still be close!"
Remus looked at his godchild and sighed. "It's not that easy Pup.."
Aria cut him off. "Yes it is! You don't want to leave me and I don't want you to go! Please Rimi! I have two floors that I'm not going to do anything with and...and...and..."
Remus saw the panic attack coming and grabbed Aria quickly. "It's okay pup! Calm down! I'll stay!"
Aria breathed through her first panic attack like a champ and looked up at Remus with tears in her eyes. "I just want my family here Rimi...I don't want to be alone again."
Remus rocked back and forth with Aria in his arms before giving in. His pup was trembling and radiating actual fear. "Okay pup...Okay."
Aria calmed but didn't release her grip on Remus' robes. "I can't be alone again Rimi, I can't."
"What do you mean by that pup?" Remus tilted her head up to him and let loose a small growl at the pain in her eyes. "You shouldn't feel alone."
"Aunt Petunia always told me that mom and dad got themselves killed....that they were drunks and lay-abouts and...and...and useless...and they didn't want me and...." Aria's breathing picked up to the panic stages again while Remus processed everything she said.
"He put you with Petunia...HE.PUT.YOU.with.Petunia? HE PUT YOU WITH PETUNIA?!?!" Remus and Moony were in sync and their eyes began glowing an eerie yellow before a burning red.

Aria noticed the shift in the atmosphere and turned to Remus in shock. Remus had never achieved Alpha status in her timeline but it seemed that this had pushed him over the edge.
"Rimi?" Aria whimpered and he turned to her.
"It'sboth of us pup." They gathered her into their lap again and tucked her head under their chin. "You won't be alone or hurt again while we breathe pup."
Aria broke down into sobs and Remus began purring, eyes flickering back to his normal amber. "Never again pup...Never again."
Both sobbed themselves to sleep, curled around each other.
