Kaitlin's POV:

I was standing alone in the elevator. It felt like the ride was forever. It finally started to approach the lobby. Floor 3, floor 2, floor 1, M.

The elevator dinged and the doors slowly opened. "It'll be okay. Just breathe and take it slow." I mumbled to myself stepping out and taking a deep breathe.

I entered the lobby and scanned the area searching for Hayes. Finally my eyes locked. On him. He was sitting in a chair and tapping his fingers anxiously on the dark brown wood table. I walked over slowly. I have no does what is going to happen and how this will go.

"Um, hey." I said. I sat in the other chair and I made sure not to make any eye contact.

Hayes POV:

The time kept passing until it was around 1:10. I had almost given up hope on her showing up. "Just 1 more minute..." I kept telling myself but I wasn't sure if she would come. "She's not coming Hayes." I thought. I was just about to leave when a girl walked up. It was Kaitlin.

"Um, hey." She said sitting down and not making eye contact. I had a sigh of relief and felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, but it wasn't all better yet. We had a long talk before forgiveness. I hope this goes well.

"Thank you, so much for coming. I know I hurt you. I know what I did was Wrong and I've regretted it ever since and I still do. I didn't want to tell you when I was away I needed to tell you in person. But I didn't want it to ruin our two "perfect" days together." I started.

She still wouldn't look at me and I know why. Because if she looks at me, she might forgive me. I can tell she doesn't want that. Atleast not yet.

"I know. I know you regret it Hayes. I'm happy you told me in person. I don't want our last two days together to be apart from each other but I don't know. When I met you. I tried so hard not to fall for you because I knew I would get hurt and I did." She said. I could see the tears forming in her eyes.

Kaitlin's POV:

Tears formed in my eyes and I was trying so hard, to keep them back. When one broke loose. "Shit" I mumbled wiping it away quickly and instantly. I don't know what to do.

"Hayes. I want to be with you." I said finally looking him in the eyes. I saw a smile form upon his face.

"Kaitlin I want to be with you too. Please I promise I won't hurt you again. Will you be my girlfriend again?" He asked. I nodded and we hugged. Our lips met and sparks flew. I'm happy we made up but I'm scared I'm going to get hurt again.
