Chapter 23

Kaitlin's POV:

Once I got home I was absolutly exhausted. It was 3am and I figured I should just get a few hours of sleep.

When I woke up it was only noon. "Oh I wonder if Hayes texted me!" I said to myself while pulling my phone off the charger. I sighed in depression. No texts. No calls. Nothing. DING NING! My phone dinged. It was a tweet... By Hayes. It kinda hurt me. "Chillin with the boys no problems. 😉".

"I guess he's happy. Without me..." I said putting down my phone. I felt a lonley tear fall down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away and took a deep breathe.

"If he is fine without me, I wanna prove I'm happy without him." I said standing up and texting my friend Riley.

Kaitlin: Heeeey riley! I just got back! Wanna go to the mall!!😸

Riley🌴: YAS please girlfriend! Imma meet u at ur house in 1 hour and we will penny board.

I replied "k" and walked over to my bathroom. I turned on the shower and hopped in. First I washed my hair, then my body. Last I shaved my legs. I hopped out and dried off.

Next I picked out my outfit while my hair curler heated up. I picked out something new. I chose a black tight crop top with quarter length sleeves. For pants I chose acid washed high waisted shorts. For shoes I chose my black converse. I slipped them on and returned to the bathroom.

I curled my hair and did my makeup. I wore bb cream, concealer, mascara and black eyeliner. "Perfect." I said to myself grabbing my phone and penny board and walkin down the stairs.

"Hey mom I'm going to hang with Riley!" I yelled walking out as Riley approached the door.

"Hey I didn't even ring the doorbell!!" She complained.

"You'll live." I said and with that we boarded off.

We finally arrived and I took a to of pics and posted them on all my social media.

We shopped forever... Pretty much until we were dry outta money. Ningggg my phone got a text. It was Hayes!

Hayes💙: hey bby. I miss you!!😘 Who's the girl ur with??

Kaitlin: heey I miss you too😘😘. I'm with my friend Riley. We just left the mall.

Hayes💙: oh. Well I'm happy your having fun without me.

Kaitlin: I am. And bby ur having fun with the boys too right!?

Hayes💙: yeah. I gtg. Ttyl gurly.

I feel like he's not telling me something... He just ended te conversation. Oh well I should just let it go. It's already 10pm and surprisingly... In exhausted. BED TIME FOR ME!!

Hayes POV:

I didn't know when Kaitlin would get home so I decided against texting her. But I did tweet. She favorited it. I hope she isn't mad. I decided today was going to be a lazy day for me.

I just slept for about two more hours when I got notifications from Kiatlin... Twitter and instagram. She posted and it looks like she's having fun without me. She's at the mall with a friend. "Maybe I should text her..." I said quietly opening up our conversation.

Kaitlin💜:I am. And bby ur having fun with the boys too right!?

I didn't want her to know I wasn't.

Hayes:yeah I gtg ttyl gurly.

I locked my phone and groaned in anger. I might as well just sleep and forget about it.
