Author's Note: Words cannot express how sorry I am for being gone so long. It feels like I am constantly writing these messages, and I am sorry. I'm sorry this story was put on hold just before the last chapter. I have had a lot going on in my life, things that you definitely would not want to know. I don't want anyone to feel like he or she has to give me any sympathy, so I just wanted to say that I am doing a lot better. I was in a scary place before. A place I hope I never go back to.

I hope everyone has been doing well. It's officially summer for me, so I will be able to write and update more as I have free time now.

I love you all very much.

Love, RelentlessChaos <3

Chapter Thirty-Four

The Final Chapter

My face was plastered on the covers of magazines everywhere. My life seemed to be the topic of discussion. It reached the headlines, and when I say this, I meant it got more popular than what any worldly politicians said. I found it to be quite sad actually. People were interested more about my pregnancy than raids on countries. However, I knew from the beginning that people wouldn’t take this information so lightly.

I expected the hate. I expected it to come in large amounts and never stop. I had to brace myself and still I got more than I originally thought. Teenaged girls were so brutal on every social networking site I had seen. Niall locked himself in a room for hours after the incident with the paparazzi. He felt extremely guilty for what he did at Mario’s. He apologized over and over and although I accepted them long ago, he kept apologizing.

Truly I didn’t believe he had anything to apologize for. It’s our life together. It’s ruled by no one but us. However, I guess the rules bent the day One Direction became famous.

I honestly had no idea what this meant for the future. It seemed like far more people disapproved of my pregnancy than approved. I didn’t own a twitter, but I saw on Liam’s that Niall and I seemed to be the top trending topic.

Liam and I sat in the living room while Niall still stayed in the room. I was dumbfounded and utterly speechless. I wasn’t prepared to tell the world yet but suddenly everyone knew. Paparazzi were relentless.

As if I wasn’t paranoid enough, I received a phone call from an unknown number. Liam gave me a look of disapproval as I answered it.

“Hello?”

“Ariella?”

“Emory?”

Shock took over me. I hadn’t heard from Emory in months. I almost forgot the sound of her voice.

“Yes, it’s me,” She laughed.

“No way… I can’t even believe this. I haven’t talked to you in forever! You changed your number!” I scolded her.

“Sorry about that. I did it for safety purposes. Listen, Ariella. I want you to be safe. Since everyone knows about the pregnancy –congratulations, by the way– You have to be more cautious than ever.”

“What should I do?” I was honestly curious.

“Just stay low for a while. Try not going out. Paparazzi will flag you down any chance they get. Also, now that the fans are outraged, it’s possible you could be attacked again.”
