SUMMARY | Shawn Spencer was known to solve plenty of cases for the Riverdale police department with his best friend Burton 'Gus' Guster, though his way of working was rather strange.
Due to almost being arrested after solving a crime even the police couldn't figure out, Shawn claimed to be a psychic. After that, he went around solving cases left and right using skills shown to him by his father.
Unraveling solutions to cases was something Shawn did in a matter of seconds. When Jason Blossom supposedly drowns, he was sure that there was more to the story but no one seemed to believe him or the 'spirits' he connected with. Though when it's discovered that Jason was actually murdered, it was a strange time for Shawn, as for once he couldn't seem to figure out who did it.

NOTES | So in order to actually write this, you have to have seen Psych. This is really similar to the show, Shawn does learn things from his dad and has an eidetic memory from his mom which is canon. Shawn does 'become' psychic in a similar manner as the show. Betty will portray a similar role to Juliet because she believes Shawn in the same way Juliet did, plus Betty and Jules are very alike.
Jughead will portray the role of Lassiter with the suspicion and disbelief about Shawn being psychic. Kevin can be a bit of both Juliet and Lassiter but Kevin will have a bigger role since his dad works with the police department.
Shawn's love interest is Gus because my headcanon is that Shawn is bisexual and by watching the show you can't tell me that there aren't hints of it. Remember to make sure there are plenty of movie references, jokes, and banter between Shawn and Gus because all of that is canon. Also make sure to add those ridiculous references & nicknames Shawn gives Gus whenever they argue and whenever he introduces Gus to new people.
