Exercise One

Fandom : Supernatural

Pairing : Jailine » Evangeline Winchester(OC) and Jaimé Rodriguez(OC)

He could stay like this forever. If only her lifespan was forever. He could switch hosts, she was stuck in her body. One of the hardest things of being an Angel, being able to live forever, given something doesn't kill you first.

But for the time being, he could forget about the rest of the world. Just lay there, no technology, no other supernatural beings trying to kill them, no school, no Allen third-wheeling anywhere... Just what he'd asked his father for. An hour or so, alone with Evan.

She was positioned in-between his legs, his knees forced up and the lower part of his legs in-between hers. One of her arms was around his waist, the other was gripping the other side of the hammock like a life-line. He was at an incline, just enough to where he wasn't exactly laying down but he wasn't exactly sitting up either. One arm was around her waist and the other supporting his head. He could feel the pads of her fingers on his back, and his thoughts wondered back to their first encounter. And he smiled self-consciously.

He slowly pulled his arm from behind his head and played with a strand of her chestnut locks. He couldn't have cared less how many split ends her hair had, or the dandruff she couldn't get rid of no matter how many times she washed her hair a day, and although he couldn't see all of her face, he could make out the individual eyelashes against her cheek, the little scar under her left eye barely visible. Her lips were parted, allowing him to see the little cuts on the inside of her bottom lip where she bit when she was nervous.

It didn't bother her anymore that he basically was her guardian angel, she'd written letters to him before they'd even met that way, and it gave him a chance to know her even more then he did. Of course... He'd seen the more.. Personal side before he'd even known what she looked like, or how old she was. And if he was honest, he wanted to see Allen's reaction to his Angel.

Evan muttered in her sleep, flinching and whimpering. Her hand on his back clenched, his shirt in her fist and the other gripping the hammock tighter. He sits up slowly as to not to disturb her sleeping form, putting one foot on the ground, the grass tickling his foot, but for her he didn't even make a sound. His hand that had been playing with her hair, along with the other, moved her into a different position for more comfort. The right side of her face was red with crease marks littering the tanned skin.

She made a sound, not a word but more of a gasp mixed with some form of a child's version of a yell, yet quiet all at once. It broke his heart.

"Eva... Eva wake up..." She didn't, but quieted at the sound of his voice, as if her head was trying to figure out what was going on whilst still asleep. After several seconds her eyes flipped open, her pupil almost unseeable. The little brown rings around her pupil seemed to be more visible than usual and the rest of the green popped.

"Woah, you okay?" He asked sitting up fully, pulling her up as well. Her tanned skin was littered with goosebumps. The hair on her arms stood straight up. She nodded, opening her mouth to speak but he gently pushed up on the bottom of her chin.

"You have no need for excuses." He said aloud. She blinked and her eyes filled with tears and she looked down at the fabric of the hammock they now sat on. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and she leaned into him.

Like father like daughter eh? Anyways, I got carried away, lol. You should see inside my brain but nothing would make since to the average brain, with fantasy laying under every layer of logic and knowledge I sometimes think I'm crazy. Anyway, have a good day.
