My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 2

(Claribels p.o.v

"Claribel? Claribel! Claribel!" Anthony said while shaking my shoulder trying to wake me up.

I woke up and saw my brother there staring at me. "What?!" I asked. "We're here" He said. "Oh ok" I said getting out of the car. I turned around to see a big house. It was a very light brown color.

The house was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I looked around and studied the neighborhood. It was quiet. not like my old one. My old one was always noisey and full of kids riding there bikes and scooters.

My phone vibrated indicating that I got a text. I pulled it out of my pocket and clicked on the text. It read " Hey Bell, have you gotten to your new place yet?" - Annie

Annie was my friend. I wouldn't call her my best friend. I didn't really have one. Annie once dated my ex behind my back. I wouldn't call that a best friend. I answered back.

" Hey Annie, yea I'm here. Its beautiful. I'll call you when I get settled in." -Xo Bell

"Hey Bell!" I heard my name being called by my brother. I looked up to see him standing next to a boy. The boy had Brown hair. He was wearing a white shirt that said '#miami' and some dark skinny jeans. He was staring at me and I felt weird.

I walked over to Anthony "What's up?". I asked. "This is our neighbor Austin. He stopped by to welcome us" Anthony said turning his head over to me. I looked over to Austin who was still staring at me by the way. Which kinda started to creep me out.

"Hi" I said kind of shy. "Hi" He said with a big smile on his face. He held out his hand for me to shake. I shook his hand and smiled. "Claribel! Anthony!" My mom sang. "Come on! Let's unpack! " She said. "Well it was really nice meeting you. But we have to go now. C'mon Anthony" I said.

"Ok .. bye Austin" Anthony said. "Bye" I could here Austin mumble. We walked into the house. Our eyes got wide. It was big and beautiful. "Its big right? My mom asked with a smile on her face.

We both nodded our heads. We helped unpack and get settled in. After about 5 hours we were all packed. The house was beautiful. We were all sweating.

"You guys have your first day of school tomorrow so I think you should get some sleep." My mom stated. "WHAT?!? " Me and my brother practically yelled. "We dont wanna go to school! Cant we be home schooled or something?" I pleaded

"Im sorry guys" My mom said walking off. I look over at my brother who was looking down at his shoes. This is gonna be very hard.
