Does Austin like me?

Do I like Austin?

I think I do

Will we ever end up together?

What am I thinking!! A good looking guy like him will never fall for a girl like me...

My thoughts were interrupted by a tap on my shoulder. I turned around seeing Shivana with two coffees in her hand.

"I got our coffee" She sang

I nodded my head thanks and she sat down in the seat in front of me.

"Are you okay?" She asked

Shivana has become my official best friend. We've spent almost everyday together. So she knows well enough if I'm happy, sad, or frustrated.

"I just keep thinking about Austin" I answered

"ooooh someone's in love!" She said

I giggle "I'm not in love, I just kind of like him. That's all. "

I noticed that she was staring at something.

"Speaking of which" She said with a smile.

I turned around to see what she was talking about. I saw Austin with Jordan and Derek laughing. I turned back around.

"What should I do" I asked nervously

"Just act normal" She said calmly

I just sat there not know what to do.

"Hey bell" A voice that sounded like Derek's said

I turned around and saw the three of them just smiling and staring at me.

"Uh hey guys" I said

"Well I got to go help my mom with something. I'll take my coffee to go. Text me Bell"  Shivana said giving me a wink. I am so going to kill her for purposely leaving me alone with them!

"Can we sit?" Jordan asked

"Yeah sure" I said nodding my head.

They all sat down. Just looking at me as if they were expecting me to say some thing. It was silent for about 10 seconds. I broke the silence.

"So how you guys been"

"Good" They all said at the same time.

"Can I speak to Claribel in private for a second?" Austin asked

I gulped. I could see hate in Derek's eye. I think he was jealous. He just rolled his eyes and left. With Jordan fallowing behind him. I looked at Austin.

"So you look better than the last time I saw you" He said

"Thanks" I said

"Ok well I was wondering if maybe I can take you out on a date. We don't have to go if you don't want to. I mean I really like you. I don't know if you like me or not. Well what I'm basically saying is will you go out with me. I could already tell you don't wa-"

Before he could finish I interrupted "No. I would love too. " I said with a smile.

"Really. Uh ok I'll pick you up tomorrow at 5. "

"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow" With that I left. Right when I got in my car I texted Shivana.

'Thanks for leaving. But I'm not just being sarcastic. Got a date with Austin tomorrow.

I started my car and headed home
