Chapter 10
Braden's POV
I felt terrible for her. She was crying in a soccer goal with a lot of pressure on her. Chelsea tried to tell her they should get going, but she fell asleep. She looked so cute while sleeping.
Did you seriously just say that? You don't like her. She is just some shy girl I ran into in the hall. She ended up experiencing the troubles of being near me. I only helped her because it was my fault she was kidnapped. She could have died. Because of me. I was mad at myself.
Chelsea and I tried to pick her up and bring her to her truck, but the football team and the cheer leading squad blocked her. Chelsea tried to get to her but ended up getting trampled by like 8 girls. I tried to get to her and the whole football team tackled me. I wasn't gonna fight because I have had enough of today so I drove off on my motorcycle. I'm pretty sure Chelsea walked home because i saw her. I drove to my dumpster and fell asleep in it.
Nicole's POV
After I left Andy's with an explanation of why I was there i was pissed. I walked home. I wonder what kid of lecture i would get when I walked through that door.
"YOUNG LADY! WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN? YOU HAD ME WORRIED SICK. YOU ARE GROUNDED FOR A WHOLE MONTH. WHERE WERE YOU?!" My mom screamed. "I-I-I was just at Chelsea's okay?" I am a terrible liar. "You hesitated young lady! Where were you?" She asked me again. I paused trying to be prepared for what I was going to say so i didn't stutter. "I was at school, in the soccer field." I said without hesitation. My mom stared me down with her big blue eyes. "Why where you there?" She said that a lot calmer. "I was studying and I fell asleep. In the soccer field." I think she bought it. "Well, I guess I over reacted your only grounded for a week." At least I am not grounded for a month. I made my way to my room and slammed the door. I had silver walls and royal blue carpet. I jumped on my full sized bed, and sighed. I was going back to hell. I wish the principle never called and told me i wasn't suspended anymore.
"Your dead when mom finds out what actually happened." Luke (My older brother) told me. He was a senior and was on the football team, so he knew what happened. "She won't find out as long as you don't tell her." I scolded him. "I make no promises." He remarked with a smile. I knew he wasn't gonna tell since I never told on him for what he has done.
"Ughh MOM!!!" I heard Heather (little sister, she is in her last year of middle school) shout at my mom. "Heather watch your tude!" My mom hollered back. "Mom I don't have an attitude!"
She was annoying. I started to get ready for school when someone came bursting through my door. MANNY!! P.S. my golden retriever. I pet him and talked pathetically to him, and gave him a big hug.
Once I put on skinny jeans, a blue T-shirt, mismatch socks, and my silver vans. By the way I LOVE silver and blue. I just threw my hair in a messy bun, which was terrible. I put on only mascara and eyeliner and then ran out the door. Shit. My truck is at the school.
I walked to Chelsea's and told her about my truck, so she drove us instead.
As soon as I got there Lydia came up to me. "Why were you screaming about how you love Braden in your sleep?" She said that real loud so every one heard. "I-I-I" I stuttered. Fuck my shyness.
To make things worse Braden was right near by. He was staring at us so I blushed. "Man, you look at him and you blush! Ridiculous. He would never waste his time one you!" She shouted.
"Actually I'm never gonna waste my time on you." He spat out at Lydia. "W-What the hell are you talking about?" She said softly as her face reddened. Ha how do you like them apples Lydia? Sorry my weirdness is showing. "We are over." He said while he walked away with a smirk on his face. That hot smirk that makes me blush. Although its not hot! Shut up, Nicole yes it is. Lydia ran out the front doors of the schools. Karma can be a bitch Lydia. I made myself giggle.
