Chapter 15

Nicole's POV

Chelsea had drove me to Braden's dumpster. I told her to wait inside her car while I talked to him. That is only because if things didn't go well I could leave with her.

"Are you sure about this?" She asked with a look I never saw her give me but I knew what she meant, what-if-he-hurts-you.

"Everything is going to be perfectly fine." I wasn't sure that was the truth, but it might be. I was hoping.

I left her car and knocked on his um, dumpster. I was really afraid of what would happen. Just a couple of days ago I was a nobody. But ever since I ran into him my life was crazy. And you know what I mean. He finally opened to top of the dumpster and saw me. Another look I never saw was in his emerald eyes.

"Uh, h-h-h-i-i. You can't stay away from me, huh?" He was stuttering and then he turned back into him again. I knew he was never going to be ready for this deep conversation. But it had to happen eventually.

"We need to talk. Now." I was very demanding and confident because who knows what he could do to me.

"I know, I know. But first you have to make her go home." He pointed to the car that Chelsea was in. Dammit. She was looking right at us with her window cracked open. I walked up to her, and told her she had to go. She begged me to stay, but I told her she had to leave. This girl would not take no for an answer. Once I told her that he was going to hurt me if she didn't (which was a lie), she left.

After she left, Braden and me both sat down in his 'home'. We sat there in silence for like a minute and I broke the silence.

"So you like me, and you k-kissed me." I stated loudly because I was not going to be messing around. But I also maybe stuttered. Someone just bitch slap me. He just looked at me with a I-know look.

"Uh, sorta. And I will not bitch slap you." He heard me. He looked at his feet, making sure not to make eye contact with me. I don't understand stand this guy. He had a chance with Lydia. He blew it, and I guess for me. He must have some sort of mental problem, because no boy ever liked me before.

"Stop thinking and kiss me." Braden demanded.
