I slowly started down the dark hall. The musky smell was strong as a approached the last couple cells by the Burgandy cell. I pulled my sweatshirt over my nose and walked into the enterance of the cell. No one there.
I walked fully into the dark cell. I rubbed my fingers over the markings on the wall. There were tallys and chips of cement off the wall. I ran my finger over the rough indentation. How crazy was she actually? I took out the rock in my pocket and matched it with the hole on the wall. A perfect fit.
I threw the rock back in my pocket when I heard the jingle of keys. Security Guard. I quickly trotted out of the cell and closed the door. The creek was so loud. I didn't even stop. I started to run.
"Whose there!?" I heard the security guard starting to run. I ran faster. I was trapped. I opened one of the cell doors and crawled under the bed. The odor was so horrifying that I started to gag. I quickly stopped breathing when I heard the guard passing the cells. I creeped to the back of the wall, still under the bed. When I adjusted, the guard opened the cell door.
Oh no. Please no. I was praying. If he caught me I would be in deep trouble. The guard started to skid his feet on the floor while running his fingers on the bed and holding his flashlight. I jumped to the sound of a growl and the scream of the guard as he fell to the ground as being dragged down the hall leaving a trail of blood. What was that?
I quickly jumped from under the bed to my feet. I followed the trail of blood down the hall, which lead to the Burgandy Cell. The guard laying on the bed, with his blood covered him and the floor. He also had a gashing hole in his temple and lower neck. I came closer with disgust as I saw his cheek with a purple star on it and a tube of lipstick sitting in his right hand.
She was here.
