Previously in the last chapter

Kira finds out that ichigo likes someone. She gets home and ulquiorra came to visit. He offered for kira to go with him and his friends to a beach house for a week and kira said okay.

The end

"Becareful Kira. Don't do anything stupid, don't stray off on your own and stick with ulquiorra"

I rolled my eyes at ichigos protectiveness and replied in a joking manner with my hand outstretched.

"Aren't you forgetting to give me my leash?"

Ichigo rolled his eyes in return and pushed my hand away.

"Haha, just becareful Kira"

I smiled a reassuring smile towards him

"Don't worry about me Ichigo. I'll be fine"

We both started walking downstairs to the living room where mom was waiting for me. Ichigo wanted to say bye before I left with Ulquiorra. He's never met ulquiorra before and even though the meeting will be brief, I'm somewhat intrigued to see how it goes.

"Oh! I'm going to miss you so much Kira!"

Mom squeezed me tight as she gave me a hug, I chuckled at how cute she was being. You'd swear I was going to another continent or something. I returned mom's hug and just as I did the door bell rang.
I let her go and turned around to give ichigo a hug as well and being the strong person that he is, he lifted me right up making me giggle.

"Don't do anything stupid"

Ichigo said sternly. We let go of eachother and I gave him a salute.

"Yes Sir!"

We both walked over to the door where ulquiorra and mom were having a chat. When he saw me he immediately looked over my head and saw the mop of orange hair that was my best friend ichigo.
I stepped aside for ulquiorra to see him and introduced him.

"Ulquiorra, this is ichigo. The friend I was telling you about"

I spoke in a happy manner. I don't know if it was my eyes that were playing tricks on me but I could have sworn I saw a flicker of jealousy dash through ulquiorra's eyes.

Ulquiorra? Jealous?
I know. My mind was most likely playing tricks on me but I'd like to think that I'm important to him in some way so I will think he is jealous.

Ulquiorra just nodded and was about to speak to mom again but ichigo outstretched his hand and tried to be friendly.

"Nice to meet you. Kira has said quite a lot about you"

Ulquiorra stared at ichigos hand for a bit but decided against his rude thoughts and shook it.

"That's nice to know"

Ulquiorra then immediately averted from ichigo and went back to mom. I sweatdropped at Ulquiorra's manners. I guess I completey forgot about how much of an ass he can be to other people. I turned to look at ichigo and tried to reassure him.
